We usually have crawfish once a year. Geaux Daddy’s exceeded our expectations. We ordered the Family special. Portions were generous and the seafood and crawfish were fresh. The sausage was really good and we wish there were more potatoes because the flavors absorbed were amazing! The boil was really flavorful. We appreciated the nice outdoor seating, outdoor sink station, complementary bibs, gloves, water and ice pops. The kids had a great time and want to come back.

This was my first visit to Geaux Daddy’s, but certainly will not be my last!
Upon arrival you’re met with a rustic venue that’s right out of an old Willie and Waylon song! The weathered wood structure makes you feel like you’re stepping into a local dance hall with its nostalgic decor and open air feel. Classic tunes greet you with songs by legends like Willie, Waylon, Merle, Vern, Conway, Patty and Reba as well as more recent legends like King George, Pat Green and REK! The other sense that’s quickly excited is the smell of crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage seasoned to tasty perfection!
I visited on St Patrick’s Day, and free green beer served to all over 21. I actually purchased the box special (3lbs of crawfish, corn on the cob, and potatoes with a dip of your choosing….I chose the tasty remoulade). I also ordered a half pound of shrimp and a sausage link. The flavors did not disappoint! While free green beer was offered on our visit, this is typically a BYOB location which makes it easy to please your beverage desires!
My 6yo (less adventurous) princess joined me, and her hunger was satisfied with a hot dog and some Cool Ranch Doritos. She still has much to learn about the ways of East Texas! 😉
The highlight of Geaux Daddy’s is the people. The owner and his entire extended family (who all seemed to be present) are absolutely amazing! The staff making things happen are young, energetic and full of excitement! And the guests represent a wonderful swath of Americana simply gathered together for a single purpose: eat the hell outta some crawfish!
I went thinking we’d stay an hour or so, and 4+ hours later we finally pulled ourselves away! Someone needed a shower, and I’m pretty sure my 6yo was ready to go as well!

We had crawfish, shrimp, and crab. Shrimp and crab were good, but the crawfish was amazing!! Nice patio to enjoy the weather. Lots of shade for when it gets hot. BYOB is nice and keeps the cost down. Will definitely be back.

We went for the 1st time yesterday because we were craving crawfish and had heard of them! They had a private event earlier so they opened at 3 and we got there at 3:50. We ordered “the box” when is 3lbs with 1 corn 2 potato and a sausage. We also got 1lb of shrimp and a side of garlic butter and extra spicy dry seasoning.
It took about 5 mins for our food to come out and it came out hot! The 1st thing I noticed was that the crawfish had a very subtle taste of lime which I liked! Unfortunately, they weren’t juicy and they were a hard peel. We also wished they had been cleaned a little better. At the bottom of our box there was a lot of dirty and the juice was muddy. The extra spicy seasoning didn’t taste extra spicy at all and the garlic butter was soooo good.
The shrimp were delicious!! Definitely had lots of flavor and were probably my favorite part. I’ll give them another try in the future to see if it was just a bad start due to their event earlier and I’d def come back if I just crave shrimp! I hope my next visit will change my rating of the place!

Easily the best boiled crawfish you can get in the BCS area. Yes better than M Beaux’s and Asian Cajun. The setup is rustic and perfect for crawfish. BYOB but they have thought of everything. Hand wash sink, jump house for kids, lots of tables and shade, free water, plenty of parking. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Quick friendly service. Easy 5 star. Don’t sleep on this place folks! Hey yall, southern food critic here again! Lets me say customer service is top notch! Very nice owner! Crawfish are big and full of flavor! Definitely worth the drive! Nice hint of lemon in the crawfish, and if you like it spicy they have a spicy seasonin’ on the side, dont worry! But enough heat when you suck tha head! And a special garlic sauce comes with it. Awesome dippin sauce! Always 100% genuine reviews. Til’ we meet again, eat and enjoy!

Customer service is top tier, crawfish is THE BEST in cypress / Houston, they don’t douse the crawfish in seasoning on the outside because it’s actually in the crawfish Taste is what I come for here, the freshness and the environment, they also do free waters! First timer and what a wonderful experience. My daughter and I enjoyed the 3 lb box special! The crawfish were very well seasoned and delicious! The staff were friendly as well! Love the atmosphere..felt like we were at a friend’s backyard crawfish boil! We enjoyed a free popsicle on the way out!
