Absolutely amazing! What a surprise! We live in Sequim and have passed through many times without stopping, and boy do I regret it. We will be making the trip from Sequim now just to eat!

They have a smoker out back and offer smoked brisket, pulled pork, and smoked meatloaf sandwiches, as well as cold deli sandwiches shaved in-house.

Don’t sleep on Gear Head Deli, but also don’t tell everyone; I don’t want to have to wait in a long line.

Went here for lunch after hiking up Mt. Townsend. Had read about it online and it sounded tasty. They were pretty busy when I first arrived and ordered.

I was in the mood for a bacon cheeseburger but think I should have gone with the BBQ pork. I ordered it medium rare and got a burger with no pink at all. And it was dry. The bun started coming apart after 2 bites and the bacon was hard to bite through.

Potato salad on the side was tasty. Drinks were cans of soda. Around $25 for lunch plus a tip.

I was hoping for a better experience but I think the rush they were having when I arrived threw the food prep off a bit. If I go back I’m trying the BBQ pork.

The first time I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant was shortly after the birth of my first daughter. I brought her in as a newborn and enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich. Ten years later, while pregnant with my second daughter, I decided to revisit the restaurant with my partner, driven by nostalgia and a desire to try something new

GUYS. I was truly impressed. A burger elsewhere is just a burger, but this one was absolutely exceptional from the first bite to the last. They prepared it exactly how I like it (no pink), and I appreciated that there was no judgment. The young man working there and the owner were very personable and genuine from the moment we arrived. The young man jokingly mentioned that a burger cooked without pink is “well done,” not medium, which made me smile. It felt like the burger was made by someone I know personally. While that may seem odd to mention, I think we all have that one family member or friend whose cooking is so good they should have their own restaurant — that was my experience at Gearhead tonight. The service was warm, the deck was comfortable, and the food was all fresh — even the potato salad and pickles were perfect.

Above all, the flavors of the burger were so thoughtfully crafted. I even asked my partner how a burger could be improved, and he mentioned seasoning, texture, sauce, and bun. Those were the key elements that stood out to me in tonight’s meal. I highly recommend trying the F150 burger — truly, I can’t express how it made for one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Also… side note but I love the trees by the deck. Each individual leaf is green but outlined with purple which is exactly how I would color a tree and it just made me really appreciate the added value of minor details in food and nature that really make life worth living.

Amazing Food ! our family of 6 just had burgers and I ate the prime rib special , it was a very reasonable bill and the food was out of this world. I have had a lot of prime rib in my 39 years on this earth and Chris the owner has outdone himself once again with the superior dry rub and smoking of this prime rib.He dishes out a healthy portion and his brisket baked beans and potato salad on the side makes this one of the better meals I Have had . definitely worth the 30 minute drive for dinner.

No problem getting a table but took a very long time to get our food. For $46 we got an equivalent of one sandwich! Each sandwich was the size of half a sandwich anywhere else for that price including from the previous owners. Though it tasted good, just very small!

What a jazzy place! Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Made to order, they come out hot and mouthwatering. I ordered a customized sandwich (hot pastrami, melted Swiss cheese with dill pickle on a French roll) and my husband got a brisket sandwich. So good.

Stopped here when visiting ONP and Quilcene. Great little shop with very friendly owners.

We had the ‘vette which was brisket burnt ends and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were amazing. Will definitely be back next time we’re out here!

They also serve meat/cheese by the pound. We got provolone for burgers and it was very tasty.

We took our order (Z28, Ferrari, F250) to go so we could picnic at a nearby park. They sent us off with a fantastic meal with more than enough napkins. We’ll be back to try more sandwiches!!
