Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Arrived around 9am when it was quiet, and by the time we left around 10:30 it was getting busy.
Everything was excellent. The staff, food, and coffee were all outstanding. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the steak and eggs, and both were perfectly done. Prices were very reasonable. The caramel latte was especially good, with strong espresso flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back for lunch or dinner.

Wow what a find this place was, there was a line out the door, so right away I knew I picked right!! I got the Shashuka which was amazing & my wife got the Eggs & homemade corned beef, also amazing!! The fried green tomato app was also on point, def rec any of these dishes!! Our server was also fabulous, she was friendly & very attentive, can’t say enough about her!! This place is a gem & we can’t wait to go back when we are in Mass again!!

We stopped at GB Eats in Great Barrington and we’re so glad we did! Everything about our experience was excellent from start to finish.
I had the Classic Burger — a 1/2 lb steak burger with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and house sauce on a toasted brioche bun, served with hand-cut fries. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the burger was cooked to perfection, and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The fries were crisp, flavorful, and the perfect complement.
My wife had the homemade autumn squash soup, which was fresh and full of flavor, along with a hot chocolate made with ground dark chocolate and steamed milk — rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious.
Our server was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal. The service was outstanding and really added to the experience.
Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re very glad we stopped and will definitely be back next time we’re in Great Barrington!

Had an amazing dinner! Breakfast salad with poached eggs is one of the most delicious ways to eat your vegetables. Fried green tomatoes with burrata and jalapeños was so good, reminded me of jalapeño poppers. The beignets had the lightest crispy exterior that perfectly paired with our coffees.
Everything was excellently executed, and the staff on 10/17/25 were delightfully welcoming and attentive.

Even when it gets crowded and packed (which it is quite often), the waiters and waitresses always treat customers with respect. It’s a great place to eat, and I’m a fan of the burgers – but the breakfast items are quite good too.

Quiet, relaxed, small town feel in a trendy, but historic setting. Counter, booths, and small tables for dining. Coffees and breakfast options are plentiful and offered throughout the day. We chose to go with their lunch menu. I had The Classic Burger which is a half pound steak burger, white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, & red onion served on a brioche roll. I liked it very much. My wife felt the same about the Santa Fe Salad consisting of a plate of mixed greens, corn & black beans, white cheddar, avocado, grilled chicken, tomato, red onion tossed in lemon vinaigrette drizzled with creamy chipotle.

GB Eats is a popular and easily accessible dining option in the Great Barrington area and we dropped by for brunch. We ordered a few omelettes, Shakshuka, French Toast, and Mickey Mouse pancake. Our server was extremely warm and hospitable and the service was efficient. The food and drinks was just average. The omelettes lacked flavor, the Shakshuka was too tangy (likely too many tomatoes), and the Cappuccino was too foamy, and the pancakes were average. All in all, we enjoyed the experience but will likely pick different dishes the next time.

Best place for breakfast! I ordered the Classic Benedict with home fries, but my order was mixed up! What came was Potato Benedict and my Vanilla Latte. Both were the best, I had ever had! The server apologized for the mixup, and I told her no worries, since I was happy with what came! There is a great variety of choices from the menu. The service was very good and the atmosphere is great! Breakfast can get very busy, and seating may fill up quickly, so plan ahead.

We had some of the best food, drinks, and service at GB Eats! We walked in around 12pm on a Friday and were able to get seated right away. I had the Polenta Bowl and my husband had the Beef Chili Rancheros. Both of us cleaned our entire plate, barely speaking to each other and just savoring the food. We will definitely make a stop back here when we’re in town!
