Cousin was visiting & decided to come here for hubby’s pre- birthday celebration. Great vibe, great service, and great food. Short rib empanada is really good with thin shell and lots of flavorful meat. The lamb rack is a bomb! Very juicy, tender inside and a bit charred outside, seasoned just right, perfectly paired with the tangy and refreshing salad. The short rib papperdelle is excellent too. They even treat us a complimentary dessert with sparkling candle for our celebration! What a sweet finale to end the memorable night.

Our server Manuel was attentive since the moment we walked in and seated us. Atmosphere is nice. Food was excellent- we ordered the tomahawk steak and it was well prepared. The rigatoni pasta was on point. Will come back again!

Being from the San Fernando Valley living in Woodland Hills, my go to restaurant was the Gaucho Grill in Woodland Hills, but they closed down and is now a CA Fish Grill location. I was saddened by this because of the long history, over 20 years, of eating there and celebrating various occasions at that spot. So it closed down a few years back, fast forward to today and I happened upon the Pasadena location. This location was vastly more upscale then the one a frequented in Woodland Hills. The ambiance was definitely a high end steak house vibe. Dark and moody with a robust bar. Kind of a Javiers feel to it.

Great place for family dining and for special occasions! Their rack of lamb is the best! The ambience is nice and cozy. Although the short ribs were a little overcooked we still enjoyed most of the food that we had tonight their side dishes were also good like the fries and sautéed mushrooms and the mashed potatoes! They even have great kids menu meals that are affordable and tasty, you could also choose either a side of fries or fruit for your little ones. my toddler loved the chicken milanese and the sliced fruits!

There is a big lack of care in honesty and customer satisfaction. As they charged us normal prices even though we ordered during happy hour. But I will give a three star review due to these empanadas being good. the ground beef and short rib was flavorful and tender a good blend of spices. The El Pastor had too much pineapple, making it sweet or than it should.

We had a larger group and wanted to pick somewhere we were familiar with. We have been to other restaurants in this chain and thought it would be as good. Unfortunately, it was not.

Parking is behind the restaurant. Recommend the Mercado to start things off. The portion size was about right, although I’ve had a similar cheese bread at another restaurant, but it wasn’t an $8 for 6; most dinner experiences allow any bread without an added price. I digress. The dishes weren’t something to differentiate from any other establishment. My ribeye was medium rare, when expecting just medium, plus a bit unevenly grilled; the mashed potatoes or the vegetables didn’t stand out on their own nor were they a supporting cast. The desserts didn’t leave me wanting more.

Our waiter, Elmer, was great. He was very helpful and personal. Food and service were outstanding too. The mussels and fries were especially tasty.
