It was our anniversary today so we planned a special dinner. We arrived as they opened, everything was fresh and delicious. Had an assortment of perfectly prepared meats and we had a taste of everything from the salad bar. I can’t say enough about how delicious everything was. Topped off the meal with a wonderful dessert. I went to Gauchinho last night with friends. The ambiance was great, the place looks really cool and the wine selection was better than I expected.
The meat cuts were decent, but we were never offered all the cuts listed on the menu. We had to specifically ask for certain items, like the lamb chops. Also, despite being asked about doneness, the meat consistently came out medium to medium-rare. My partner repeatedly asked for medium-well to well-done, but it seemed impossible to get any cut cooked to the right temperature.
We ordered a caipirinha and an espresso martini, and unfortunately both drinks were not good at all. The sangria, however, was pretty good.
For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, which was good, but the flan was completely strange very solid in consistency, extremely sweet, and not creamy at all.
Service overall was very poor. For the same prices, other Brazilian grills downtown offer a better selection and much better service.

My husband and I went to celebrate our third wedding anniversary, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. It’s the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in Asheville—and honestly, one of the best I’ve ever been to. Even though everything was absolutely delicious, the best part was the service! Everyone was extremely kind and attentive, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Now I want to take everyone I know there, haha!!

You want quality? This is IT. As a long term resturant GM and servsafe Instructor I can tell you this place is a cut above the rest. From the moment we came in to leaving it was flawless. Drinks neber empty and food never 5 seconds away when you turn your coin over to green. Not to pushy at all and very attentive. Also a nice surprise was a cake for me and my wife’s 5th anniversary. The manager running the floor does a great job of ensuring service and you csn tell he knows what he is doing along with his staff. All the great selections at the buffet were presented beautifully and all the food fresh. Was was supposed to be hot was perfectly hot and cold was perfectly cold. If you want a great night out for any or no occasion. This is the place to be. Not the cheapest spot but when you pay for quality you dont mind a bit. The wife loved her peach drink and they know how to make a good drink. Thank you for a memorable experience even with our 2 kids. We will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone.

I loved this steak house so much, I went for my birthday with my kids and husband (group of 4) – and it was so worth it. The sides and all the different proteins were so good. We fell in love with the grilled pineapple ! So delicious and I received a free desert for my birthday, carrot cake was so good ! Definitely recommend for kids who are picky eaters and you want to enjoy a nice quiet time at a nice place!
