This is a new restaurant & bar in LaRose, Illinois (very small rural village). The owners really did a great job renovating this building and making it modern. This place is a big asset to LaRose and provides travelers with a good reason to stop in their village and patronize local businesses.
While my personal experiences dining in were both peaks and valleys, the valleys were not at the fault of the owner. A lot of restaurants are really struggling right now to find good reliable assistance in the kitchen. The wait times for food were very long, but the food was really good. I imagine when the restaurant finds stable and reliable workers, they will cut down the time it takes to get the food out to the tables.
I would definitely give this restaurant a chance if you are in the area. Their wings were fantastic. They also have really great specials that constantly change. Try to be understanding if your food takes longer than usual to get to the table, they are working with what they have available right now.

Stopped in 9-10-23 on our way back to Peoria from Chicago. We were very impressed not only by how great the food was, but by how nice the atmosphere of the place was. Just looking around you can really tell a lot of work went into the design. I got the Chicago Fire Pizza and loved it!

I came into this place not thinking much of it. But boy, I was really wrong. The food, the service, and of course the diner were perfect. A lady, blond, and working the bar was the nicest lady I’ve met in a diner in a long time. She was so sweet not only to me, but to my two grandparents. I totally recommend this to anyone in the area, who want a nice little place to rest, throw down money for beer, or just eat good food. We will for sure be back!!!

Excellent menu. Food was good. Service was fantastic. They had a great kids selection, cool kids cups, and activity sheets & crayons to keep the kids occupied. Great first experience here on my birthday! We will definitely be back!

We stopped by Gatorz on our way home from late night softball in Peoria. It was close to their kitchen closing and they graciously took us in. The service was awesome! The food is INCREDIBLE. Our new favorite pit stop! Our kids enjoyed the food too! Burnt ends and Mac n cheese, cheeseburger, thin crust pizza and wings. Everything was fantastic!

Loved it! Drive past this place all the time, stopped finally after a long day at Starved Rock. Candied Jalapeno burger with Bacon was lit!!! Server was nice and very attentive, atmosphere was pleasant with good music playing overhead and silenced when touch tunes kicked on. Loved every bit of it!

Clean/Cool place, freshly cooked amazing food, outstanding service, great atmosphere. Clean, cool looking men’s bathroom. Bacon burger was choice. Spicy honey wings were perfect. Thank you for a great experience!! Highly recommended!!

Took 15 minutes to get waited on JUST for drink order, another 10 to get drinks and to place our order. It was NOT busy by any means. I have had much better pizza and husband had the Fish sandwich which he said was not good either. Onion rings literally were dripping oil from them and they were also over cooked.

First time there and there was a close up magician named Cory who came to our table and did a bunch of *magic* tricks, cards and coins , etc, I was super impressed, I even got to keep the card I wrote my name on. Highly recommend this place. I had a really good pizza and beer.
