Very nice spot to watch sports or get a quick bite in Windermere. Good draft beer list even has some of my favorites. Christina, Lexi and Alex are all very good servers. The bar can be a fun time too! Very affordable with a great happy hour! Snacks here are always a crowd pleaser. Can’t go wrong with the nachos, pretzels burgers or cheesesteaks!

We did an online order for 25, five sets of boneless wings online from Gator’s Dockside, and what we received was incredibly disappointing.
Each box contained such a small amount of food that it honestly felt like a joke—more like a sampler than a meal. For the price we paid, we expected a decent portion, but what we got was nowhere near worth the money.
It feels like a total rip-off and borderline scam in terms of value. This is not what you expect when ordering from an established restaurant. Definitely not ordering from here again unless they seriously rethink their portion sizes and pricing. Very disappointed.

I recently visited Gator’s Dockside and had a mixed experience. The drinks were definitely a highlight—well-crafted and refreshing. However, the service left something to be desired. Our waitress seemed distracted and didn’t pay much attention to our table, which was disappointing. The food was good but nothing particularly special. Overall, it’s a decent spot for drinks, but the service and food could use some improvement.

Gators Dockside is a solid choice when you’re feeling like eating bar food. Their wings, burgers, and fries are the perfect addition to a lazy weekend. We ordered to go and the food was good considering how much it cooled down before we got it home.
If you like mushrooms, the fried mushroom appetizer is the bomb. It traveled well and the breading was still crispy. I was worried they may get soggy by the time we got to eat but they didn’t. The tots stayed crispy too. There’s nothing worse than soggy tots so that warrants 5 stars in my opinion.
The wings were cooked and seasoned very well and the sliders were delicious. The Bleu cheese burger was a bit over cooked but to be expected when ordering it to go.

The service is CONSTANTLY a disaster. No one to greet you and seat you. The staff has no interest in being here and took us 10 minutes before someone came to give us service. The food is decent at best. Won’t come back it’s like this EVERY Time and has only gotten worse

The food had pretty good flavor I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the seafood pasta and gator nachos. The nachos had a nice cooked flavor to them, I was curious what gator tasted like but it’s mixed with pork so I can’t actually say. Service is decent and I’m glad I came.

I ordered 10 wings, house chips, fries and sweet potato fries. The wings I ordered was suppose to be dry rub caribbean wings, but they gave me the wrong flavor, not sure what it is, tasted like buffalo but not sure… Despite not being my flavor of choice, the wings were quite juicy and not dry and relatively big. The house chips were really crunchy and not overly salty. The sweet potato fries were good as well, seems they didn’t put salt on it (not complaining), the fries were like dirty fries, it had seasoning, it was good.
Environment
There was no dedicated space for parking to pick up (at least I didn’t see it). The interior seems very friendly and welcoming.
Niceness of the staff
Very nice staff. I initially scheduled my order but was able to call in to get it earlier. Also for the wings that I got the wrong flavor for, the manager was very accommodating and I was able to get a replacement via UberEats very quickly. Professionally handled.

It was reasonable. 5 wings were $10, but the more you get the less it is. The sides were 3-5$ a piece.

Sometimes things go wrong, and great businesses make awesome recoveries. I made an order through UberEats and my driver picked up the wrong bag, showing up at my house with someone else’s food. The driver apologized, called the restaurant, and they said they’d make a fresh order for her to pick up. She left telling me she’d be back in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later Uber Eats closed out the order and gave her my tip. They refused to speak with me or give me a refund.
Enter Gators. I then spoke with the receptionist and they told me the new order was waiting and UberEats never came to pick it up. To make it right, they jumped in their catering van and brought it to me myself. We love Gators, we order from it all the time, and after tonight, we always will.
Thank you guys for fixing someone else’s mess, we really appreciated it!
