I was visiting the Orlando FL location. Someone said it was good so I decided to try it. I ordered a to go order at the bar and had a drink while I waited. For a Saturday late afternoon it wasn’t that busy. I was greeted within a minute of sitting down. I appreciated being offered the daily specials without asking. They have a special every day of the week. I had a double shot of Captain Morgan with Pineapple juice. I ordered the lemon pepper wet wings and southwest egg rolls. I was asked if I’d like the wings crispy, which was a sign, they DO know how to make wings. There were sports channels to watch and games I could play. The atmosphere gave a vibe of sports, wings and chill with friends. When I got to the house, I was pleased to taste the perfect amount of sauce on my crispy lemon pepper wings. The egg rolls hit the spot with the combination of seasonings, chicken, black beans, corn, tomato and Mexican cheeses inside a perfectly fried egg roll wrap. The chipolte sauce took it to another level. With so many other items on the menu, I will definitely circle back for more.

It was my first time in Florida and I knew I had to try Gator. This restaurant was a wonderful place to experience it for the first time. They accommodated our large group with ease and even moved us to a quieter area so we could hear each other. Two Gator appetizers covered our table of 7. I would describe it as having the texture of ham with the taste of chicken, that may not sound very good but trust me it is. I also had a smash burger with avocado instead of cheese and it was delightful. Our wonderful server Faith made sure we had a fantastic time here, I would go again.

All you can eat wings on mon and wed is a gimmick. They load you up with fries and then they purposely wait 30 mins between serving so you either get full or leave. It’s not the server because it’s every time so they must have instructions to hold the wings. Drinks on happy hour are also watered down. Otherwise things are good and I wish service and food on mon and wed were just as good as Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

A group of us did lunch here. We were seated right away, and the waitress was very friendly. The food is decent. I ordered chili and shrimp pasta. The chili was good, but shrimp pasta was mediocre. The fettuccine was off. My guy got the wings, and he liked them – teriyaki grilled. The appetizers were all good. Shrimp, big and crunchy; gator tails, good; steak bites were okay and mushrooms. My rum punch was good, too. The restaurant is nice and spacious and I liked the decor. He also ordered gator chili on a different visit and said it was good.

Such a disappointment! I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally did. We sat at the bar and Christina provided inattentive service at best. We had to ask for every little thing and had empty drinks the majority of the time. The burger was over cooked and flavorless and fries tasted like the only seasoning was the fryer oil.

Food was good, but the service was fantastic! Our server Nick was such a great guy. We sat on the closed-in patio and brought our dog. Nick and the other servers were so sweet to our senior dog. I’d go back just for the service! Thank you for such a nice time, Nick! We did enjoy the gator bites, chicken wings and burger.

Ordered the parm crusted grill cheese and Cuban. Dish very much lacked anything fresh on the plate. A bit greasy. House chips didn’t seem homemade recently. Overall seemed clean. There are lots of other choices in the neighborhood. Servers nice but slow. It’s a 1 and done.

Lake Nona, FL. It’s the best Gators Dockside I ever been to. People here look like Bass Pro Shop or Academy Sports people. Baseball team was here celebrating, a couple wearing camouflage outfits walked in, servers wear shorts and football jerseys.
I liked my salad enough. Most of the menu is deepfried, tho.

Very bad experience, I went with my daughter and grandson, they didn’t want us to sit down, everything took a long time and it bothered the waitress that there was a child, and to top it off the ticket went wrong and they wanted to charge us what wasn’t.
