Hands down the best service We’ve had at Gators Dockside
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to after the experience we had tonight. Our waitress, Lily, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was so polite, genuinely kind, and made us feel welcomed and taken care of the entire time.
Every recommendation Lily gave us, we loved. She clearly knows the menu inside and out and actually listens to what you’re in the mood for before suggesting anything. Everything she recommended was spot-on and made the meal even better.
She was attentive without hovering, checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks full, and made sure we were happy throughout the night. Even when it got busy, she stayed calm, helpful, and upbeat, which really stood out.
The food was great, but Lily’s service is what truly made the experience. Employees like her are a huge asset, and it’s clear she takes a lot of pride in what she does.
She went above and beyond for our family, turning on our football game, keeping the kids entertained, and keeping everybody happy. Lily took excellent care of us our whole visit!
We’ll definitely be back and we’ll absolutely be asking for Lily again.

Pretty good meal. Had a burger with onion petals. the burger was cooked perfect, the onion petals were delicious. Had the taste of the blooming onion served at several steakhouses.
Service was good, atmosphere was decent, price was fair. Overall it was good enough that we ate here a second time while in town for a couple days.

Food was only decent. And they gave me some mystery sauce. It was hands down the worst sauce I’ve eaten. I was told it was theirvoo doo sauce. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with taste buds. Ribs were ok though.

Was freezing on one side of the place, we were moved to the other by request, but they put us by the door!! (So cold air came when opened.) Then waited and waited (25 mins.) for our food. When it came it was burnt, and greasy … Waitress was very sweet, but not sure if we’d give it another chance.

Horrible experience. Wait to be acknowledged when walked in. Hostess on the ph taking order no one else. Finally got seating in a booth. One server in area with four full table. We were just wife and I. Server was nice. We ordered French Onion Soup and nachos. Both came out same time. Usually soup first. Soup was ok. Nachos had spicy chili, wife can not have spice and did not say spice on the menu. Took server good 15 min before getting her attention. Explain situation, no worries what we get. I ordered monte Cristo. Wife wanted fish and chip but wanted it as a sandwich with onion pedals NO spice. 25 min later and still no food. Restaurantwas not that busy except for poker player. When server came over finally said make it to go. Then got the bill, charged $19 as a fish n chips. Asked for manager, looked like he didn’t want to deal. Listened us but acted like he didn’t care. Credit he took off for the fish (never requested it). As we were leaving made a mention would not come back and manager needed to be somewhere else. Manager followed us to our car, terrible move. Then when we got home the onion pedals were spicy. Never going there again.

We attended a gathering at the Eustis location. Food is normally good, but this experience, not so much. We ordered pretzel bits as an appetizer, if you didn’t know any better, you would have thought they were crotons. The pretzel was cut into bit size pieced then toasted, so dry, the salt wouldn’t stick. We also ordered 10 grilled wings, 4 of which were BURNT. Our plate should have never left the kitchen. Fortunately our server was very responsive and took care of the situation.
Gators Dockside needs to step up their game if they want to stay competitive with the new restaurants moving into there area.

So me and my man came here the other night Js for some late night eats. We ordered a few cocktails one featured on the menu. Our cocktails literally tasted like they had no alcohol in them like literally tasted like a 1/2 ounce of liquor. Since the cocktails were a flop we did a pitcher of mango cart, the pitcher of mango cart was 22$ no one let me know I figured a pitcher is usually a better deal than ordering sometimes two beers. Then our food came, everything was so smothered in oil and I understand fried food, there’s gonna be grease. But I work in a restaurant, nothing had time to strain at all. It seemed like it came right out the fryer onto the plate, the onion petals had so much grease it soaked the cardboard. I couldn’t even eat much Js be of how heavy everything was, Monte Crisco coated in oil. The cornbread sliders were okay but they come with two sliders really thin cornbread and 1 chicken finger on each sandwich for around 15$. Honestly I’m not usually someone to complain ever but I just really didn’t see the value here. I was disappointed and I would never pick this place for casual eats moving forward. I really really disappointed, if we could do it over we would’ve just went to sonics and kept the 72$ we spent on bad food and worse cocktails here.

Absolutely disgusting! I phoned in a to go order. I had to tell the hostess my info several times. I even spelled out the name twice, and she still got it wrong. When my husband picked up our food, of course, they had no record of it because they had the name wrong. Eventually, they found the order. Now, let’s talk about that. It was by far the worst food I’ve ever had from any restaurant. The chicken on my wrap was like rubber and tasted like old oil. I ended up throwing it out. Then my onion petals were ice cold! Did they even get cooked? Our combo platter consisted of rubber miniature “chicken tenders” that were the size of a quarter. There were 3 of those. The southwest egg rolls, if that’s what you can call it, were burnt to a crisp and so much oil dripping off of them. The marinara was in a solid chunk like it had been sitting out for days. The mozzarella sticks were like ice cubes. Almost everything went in the trash. I will never eat here again. Please change your fryer oil and get a new cook!

On Tuesday, November 11th 2025, I went to this place with my daughter, her fiance Fiante and his friend. The place is Okay but I will say that it is pretty pricey and they didn’t even have a special for veterans, which is kind of cheap. If you ask me because I’m a veteran and there are many places that show respect to the veterans that day wirh giving them special deals, but not here. The only reason we went here is because we couldn’t get into the Golden Corral, because it was packed for veterans day. Anyways I mean, seriously $42 for 25 wings? Seriously? That’s kind of expensive if you asked me. I didn’t get it, but they did. The bill for four people was around $170, and we didn’t even order anything that extravagant except for these 25 wing special deals. The point is I think the price should be a little bit lower and you probably have more customers in there. Just an idea.

It’s a sports bar…it’s good for what it is.
If you love wings, they have huge large selection. I had fish and chips. Nice and crunchy. It was served hot and with a big smile. The staff members were pleasant.
There is a pool table and several amusement game machines for fun. They also have a digital menu QR link on each table. (See pic)
