What a great spot for lunch! We were traveling and I saw the photos online. Great service, reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Yum!

Great food and great atmosphere. If you want something quiet this is not the place. Staff is friendly and really loved the baked potato. There are specials Monday – Friday

The crawfish delivered to me was perfect. I have been looking all season for a place with fresh, well seasoned, and juicy crawfish. The price was perfect for the amount of crawfish too! 5lbs for $48

Stopped in randomly. The alligator/sausage gumbo wasn’t bad. Good flavor, gator is fried but not overdone. The smoked old fashioned was decent

My wife and have been to this restaurant severial times and the food was great.. Not sure what happen today. We arrived and there were hardley no one there. We ordered our food. I had the bone in ribye and my wife had a small steak. It took almost 30 minutes to get our order and when it arrived, the steak was not cooked how I ordered and it didn’t have any seasoning. I had to use steak sause which I never do. The cook must have had an off day… of course, this visit isnt gonna cause us not to return.

I recently hired Gator’s Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator’s owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Marjorie and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator’s as a casual dining experience, but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up, and then the meal served, they made it stress free.
I asked for a girly salad – a strawberry, walnut spinach with
a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets – grilled on site with yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic.
Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests.
If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don’t let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. They were a class act that would rival any high end restuarant.
Thanks again, Marjorie, Chef Lena, Corey, and Keith. You all made our small event a success

Stopped here on the way to the outlet mall and glad we did. Surprised it wasn’t busier at lunchtime. Our server was very attentive and willing to make suggestions. Wife had a cup of potato soup which was thick & full of bacon. I had the lunch portion of Bayou Pasta, a skewer of 3 each shrimp & andouille sausage over a mildly spicy creamy pasta dish, very flavorful. We topped off lunch with the key lime pie which we both thought was more like key lime cheesecake, there was none left. A gem in my opinion, you should stop at Gator’s

Such a cute place! The food was amazing, and our waitress was so sweet. Bar has little games you can play, and I have to say, their Alligator Sausage gumbo is the best gumbo ive ever eaten. 10 stars!

Don’t sleep on Gator’s. Their Brunch menu is quite possibly the BEST weekend “breakfast/brunch” in Dickinson! Their omelette was fresh and full of ingredients while their breakfast chimichanga is light and flaky like a pastry. Not greasy like other fried items. With brunch only being served on weekends you will also get the chance to meet Grace the best barmaid in all of Galveston county! Give Gator’s a try for brunch one weekend I’m sure you will not be disappointed, I know we weren’t!!
