A real hidden gem. Far enough away to feel like you went somewhere while still being close enough to be a meeting point for groups. Great grounds and the resturant was absolutely fantastic. A lot of homemade food made with pride. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good lunch or to see some Florida nature.

This is a super cute little restaurant, but let me tell you, looks are deceiving as it’s quite roomy inside. Service was great. The staff is friendly and we did not have to wait long for our food. We ordered a Cuban with fries and a basket of gator bites. Everything was delicious, as was their homemade sauce. We will be back here for sure.

That pulled pork was THE BOMB. Tender, juicy, BBQ sauce was super tasty! The fries were amazing- crisp outside, fluffy inside… and the coleslaw, which I usually don’t eat, was good too. Someone knows what they’re doing! And the portions are huge. My food was $12 but I got to eat it twice so that’s cool.

Since I’m a vegetarian, my experience with the menu was somewhat limited. I’d really appreciate it if they offered more vegetarian options.
Can’t say much about the other dishes, but overall it seemed like a nice spot.

Today was an amazing experience. We passed by on chance because of convenience. We thought well if the food isn’t amazing at least will get a good scenic experience. Well let me tell you that the scenery ended up being the last thing on our minds. The food was beyond good to the point that I had to mention to the cook it was the absolute best flounder I had ever tasted ! My friend as you can tell from the pictures was also raving about how delicious the food was. As if that wasn’t enough Rebecca ( the waitress) and Kerry ( The chef) were amazingly sweet, and attentive to us as consumers.
In all honesty our experience couldn’t have been better, because of this I now intend on establishing a habit of passing through this area hungry on purpose when I know I’m headed this way

Just stellar. Homemade food from the bottom, up — ranch dressing, ribs, gator, cornbread, marmalade relish, and more. Tons of food, great prices, and incredible quality. This is what you always hope for when you dip into a hole in the wall.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! We are new to the area and came across this restaurant. It was just me and my husband at the restaurant. We ordered the fish, gator, shrimp fried… Gator was very tender. Every thing we had had so good. We had left overs and finished it for Dinner. We met the chef and she told us she makes everything from scratch. I don’t normally like the tartar sauce, but this one was GREAT!
