The bar is tied to the hotel and the food is from Pesche’s, which is excellent. The bar is a hole in the wall, so don’t expect a fine establishment, but if that’s your thing, you will like this place, they have four pool tables, and a dart board. Drinks are served out of the bottle or in plastic cups if draught, shots are served in plastic ramekins which I personally found to be novel. Overall it is a good place to go if you are staying in the hotel, and don’t want to drive for food and drinks.

Went to this bar with my fiancé and a friend, had a pretty good time until the end of the night. When I received the bill I looked it over, and it seemed extremely high. I didn’t have much to drink and my fiancé also doesn’t usually drink too much so I brought it to my fiancé to ask what she had purchased. She looked it over and it turned out the staff had charged several of our friends drinks on our tap. When my fiancé brought it to the bar tenders attention she was extremely rude to my fiancé. When my friend explained to the bar tender that it was a mistake the staff stated that they already ran the card and there was nothing they could do. My friend, upset by their reaction and rudeness wrote on our tab a zero for the tip. The staff became very upset by this and told my friend he needed to leave. When he stepped outside the male bartender and a couple other patrons were in my friends face. When I stepped out I realized my friend was about to get jumped, so I told my friend we needed to leave. I tried to usher him over to the car when one of the guys sucker punched me. I did not see who it was, but the bar tender said it was his friend and he is going to stand up for his friend. The guy who hit me as everything became chaos admitted to my fiancé that he was the one who hit me. She didn’t say anything to me at the time trying to avoid any further drama. Moral of the story, the bar tenders at this place will try and rip you off. And if you don’t pay it that’s ok someone will just sucker punch you when you try to leave.

That is absolutely what happened, I don’t just take time out of my day to complain about staff or any establishment just to do it. I am extremely upset with how we were treated that night, how things were handled, and someone blind side hitting me when I am just trying to leave. Also I don’t feel your response as the owner or admin or whoever you are is appropriate either.

Place is an absolute DUMP, if you’re in the Battle Creek area and want to have a bad time I’d go here. This place probably has the 2nd best service in the area if everyone else was tied for first place. Highly do not recommend and I’m pretty sure they over charged me. So if you want to pay for more than what you ordered and have a terrible time I recommend, otherwise DO NOT GOOO!!!!!!

TERRIBLE. All food is nasty frozen wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Not to mention the prices and terrible staff. Stay far and clear from here I’ve been 3 times hoping for a better time and somehow it only gets worse. If I could give this dump a negative review I would worst bar in Battle Creek by far

As someone visiting from out of town, I can tell you to STEER CLEAR! The waitstaff are junky hustlers and the bar not only had poor service, weak drinks and std riddled waitstaff providing hand outs for tips but the roaches and mice gave it a good down home, ghetto style welcome! I’d rather blow my money on the east side… at least Detroit has class where it matters! What a disaster! The older woman and man behind the bar made for poor bouncers when the trash panda pirate riots broke out too! What a gem!

Not actually a 5 star place but… we had a great time. It’s attached to the quality inn next to firekeepers. The drinks are cheaper and not weak. We had great service. I love the music. We felt a little older than most but definitely would go back.

Been there a few times had a great time. Low lit with cement floor, pool tables, darts, extensive music selection on the jukebox, bartender was pleasant, and not overly busy which I like very much. I’m not sure about the food. I’ve never eaten there just a lot of drinking.

The food is absolutely delicious, my husband gets the Walleye Diablo every time and is never disappointed. The prices are reasonable and they have wide range of cocktails and beer available.
We’ve never had a bad meal at the Gator Lounge!
If you’re staying in the hotel, the adjacent bar has a nice hole in the wall atmosphere, pool tables a full bar.

Person at the front door did not say a word to me. I go inside order a drink and manger takes it from my hand and tells me I cannot just come up in here and needed to leave and get a wristband. I check in, didn’t get my drink back and had to still pay for it after having it taken from me. Keep in mind I’m 21+ will not be returning. If someone at the front door stopped me I would of had no problem checking in before hand but no one said anything to me until the drink was taken from my hand
