What an enjoyable meal! We stumbled on this place after attempting to dine at the ramen place next door. It was a wonderful surprise and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is simple, but decorated with adorable kid drawings of cats. The service was excellent. We went around 4:00 pm, and noticed lots of Reservation cards on the tables for the evening. It seems like a well-loved spot. Our food was warm and delicious. The tortillas were definitely homemade. We also enjoyed the spice level of the wings. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to be served quickly.

Went here for a groomsmen’s dinner, and they treated us super well! We sample 4 of their amazing tacos (highly suggest the birra- phenomenal!) and had a few of their terrific cocktails (spicy margarita for the win!)
They surprised us with a serving of churros to celebrate, which were absolutely delicious!

Overall a good Mexican spot with fantastic service but some opportunities to improve the food.
The guacamole could have had more lime and salt. The soyrizo and carnitas had minimal flavour and were bland.

Our dinner was absolutely amazing. We both got tacos and chips/guac. This was by far our favorite dinner out while skiing at Mont Sutton. Would 100% recommend!

Wow, coming from Brooklyn, New York, I am very impressed with my overall experience at Gato. We spontaneously showed up knowing that the restaurant was closing in 25 minutes. I was greeted immediately and felt extremely welcomed after asking if there was still time for a bite. I quickly called my family and said to come in that we still had time and that the vibe was awesome.
A table was quickly and efficiently wiped down and we were seated. Menus were brought and a drink order was taken.
We ordered the guacamole which was very tasty. Some oysters that were on the special menu and followed with 2 orders of the fish tacos and 2 orders of the Al pastor tacos. Everything was wonderful. If I lived close buy, it would definitely be my spot to go to. Mostly locals and some out of towners The music is very cool. It seems to have a lot of regular/locals which should support and give a review. As I almost didn’t come because I didn’t see many. Let’s not keep it a secrecy and support this amazing hidden jewel!
Vinny was amazing and after talking to him, we found out that he was the owner. He was very involved in all aspects of the restaurant and very much aware of what everyone needed. His kind and approachable demeanor literally is what pulled me in and we do not regret it! I wish I had taken more photos but we were so hungry and devoured everything.
I wish Gato/Vinny all the best in the years ahead. His establishment is in a very cool spot and deserves to get the word out so don’t forget to leave your reviews after visiting this local hotspot!

Food was not worth it being in a restaurant more like a cantine truck. Plus no wait time because everything was pre made in containers and then just put on a plate. I heard the cooks yelling and talking through the kitchen. No respect for the clients. GATO means cat and the name is exactly right the food sucks not even worth feeding it to a cat
