Gathering Grounds Coffee House is located on the southeast corner of the town square in an 1800’s vintage building that was one of the first in Osceola. The building formerly housed a grocery store which closed in 1995. After the closure the building sat empty for 25 years before a year-long restoration took place in 2019-2020. The old brick has been exposed and that, along with more modern cedar wood accents, creates a warm, welcoming environment for customers. Eclectic seating, Osceola memorabilia, pastries, and a wide variety of lattes, smoothies, and frappuccinos welcome guests to this small town coffee shop!

Have visited three times, never been impressed with the espresso shots. They have a smoky flavor. Ordered iced lattes everytime and parts of the drink are still warm. Once stirred the ice dissolves quickly and you’re left with a room temp drink.

We came here on our way through Osceola on a road trip. I’ve had chai tea from almost every coffee shop in the Twin Cities and Gathering Grounds Coffeehouse in Osceola uses the best of the best chai . The history of the building and the owners’ intentionality with the decor is so fun to see!
