Cozy and clean, the Gathering Grounds is a gem in the rough of Lansford. Their coffee, provided by Mauch Chunk Coffee company, is rich and delicious. The simple breakfast (served to 11:30) and lunch menu is nicely priced and the few things we’ve tried have been tasty. There’s a nice lounge area with boardgames and free WiFi, a bar and a dining section. We’ve enjoyed this nice little restaurant that was much needed in Lansford.

Great atmosphere with kind employees and amazing burgers and coffee. A full menu with lots of choices from burgers and fries to milk shakes and coffee along with a small bakery. Although the restaurant is entirely run by volunteers so every now and then it may take a while to get your food.

The staff was friendly enough but I was expecting more of a coffee shop than anything with the name of the business? It was more of a restaurant with coffee on the side. We just got coffee and it’s mediocre at best. The coffee tastes like a lot of the flavor was stripped from it and there was nothing special about it. There’s a baked goods attached to the business inside and he’s super friendly and all his desserts are unique, fresh and so delicious looking. Also have to add that he had macaroons which you don’t see in many places. I’m so excited to try the stuff I got(which was banana nut and chocolate chip scone and four flavors of macaroons).

This place has the greatest breakfast , lunch , and dinner in this entire town. Their drink selection is also pretty great with assorted types of tea , iced coffee , and even hot cocoa. Not to mention they have a little bakery area where you can get some tasty treats.

Service with a capital SERVE. Had Glenn’s special french toast. Was the best I ever had!! Serino’s bakery inside the coffee shop always has something new to try. The scones are rich and tasty. Today’s treat was amazing!!!–apple breakfast bread. I highly recommend Gathering Grounds for a great breakfast.
