⭐ 1 Star – This Place Should Be Arrested For Serving This Foolishness
My brother told me to try Gateway Pizza, so I slid through for a half fish sub with fries. Lettuce, tomato, mustard — simple requests, nothing crazy. Bro… when I tell you they handed me the most disrespectful sandwich I’ve seen in my LIFE, I’m not exaggerating.
This wasn’t a fish sub — this was a bread manifesto with a smear of ketchup. I opened the wrapper and had to LAUGH because there was more fish in the advertisement than on my actual sandwich. That thing had one flake of fish like it swam past the sandwich and kept going.
Lettuce? Barely.
Tomato? One sad slice doing its best.
Flavor? On vacation.
Effort? Missing.
Dignity? Nonexistent.
It was like they said, “Let’s see how far we can get with ZERO effort,” and then doubled down on the laziness. I paid real money for a sandwich that felt like a school project someone started on the bus ride to school.
And when I told them it was terrible?
They looked at me like I was the problem. No apology. No remake. No accountability. Just straight ‘not our problem’ energy.
Let me make this VERY clear:
If you come here, you did that to yourself. Don’t say nobody warned you. This place should be on a watchlist for crimes against food.
This wasn’t a meal — this was a lesson.
A lesson in never trusting Gateway Pizza with your stomach, your money, or your hope.

My family ordered pizza a couple days ago and I went to go pick it up. I had to use the restroom while they still were finishing up on the order. I wait for whoever is in the men’s bathroom to come out since it was a single occupant bathroom. I hear the door open and it’s one of the kitchen cooks hence the apron he was holding in his hands. I heard him hawk a loogie in the bathroom as well. I go in after him to SEE THAT THE SINK IS DRY! That sums up my review. I was and still am disgusted in my experience because I enjoyed the food but I won’t dare to get food from this establishment again. Absolutely disgusting.

Ordered french fries with a side of gravy amongst other food for my children and I. Began eating and noticed something black in the gravy. Come to find out, it was a dead fly! I mean seriously… a dead fly. You can see the tiny red eyes and black legs. Absolutely gross! Will never buy from them again!

Had ordered Doordash. I got wings and fries. The wings were good. The fries however were just alright. But I can’t fault them for that as fries delivered always become steamed in the box before arrival and therefore soggy.

Okay so get this, yesterday night December 17, 2021 me and my friend went to gateway to order a half extra cheese and pepperoni pizza … we ordered over our phone in the car and waited over well over 20 minutes to receive this monstrosity of a pizza. During the halfway point of our wait time, my friend went In to check on the pizza and he recalled the staff barely speaking to him but laughing and hanging out .. they’re relaxed attitudes created THIS PIZZA . Gateway has really disappointed me this time.
