Disappointed, thanks to Classic dish of Mr Robuchon like Langoustine ravioli
Or caviar and Crab that are still so good dish
But since the ex French chef left Michael and been replaced by Japanese chef the quality of food went down honestly everything was not seasoned or cooked properly.
The design of plate is still good and atmosphere is great.
I went to many Robuchon in the world for the last 10 years and honestly the cooking of Mr Robuchon is always very punchy, full of flavor it usually excites my palate very much

But this time I really was disappointed about the no taste ! Except the signature dish of Mr Robuchon that the chef can’t change or take out of the menu

The best part is cheese trolley, bread trolley
And cake also is so so
I heard that they don’t have a pastry chef anymore

Sad to see that, I miss the old time

Great food, although the matsutake mushroom and escargot dish didn’t really work for me – a bit too strong and earthy.

My mother came to visit me at Tokyo and we came here for dinner. The overall experience was amazing. The food was great and the staff would really make you comfortable although the setup is very formal. For a Michelin 3 star, my expectation was that the food would touch your soul, well that didn’t happen, it was just good. Also from a cost performance point of view (92000 yen for 2 person including 2 glasses of wine each), I felt it was on the higher side compared to the experience.

My dear friends, let me tell you about the most extraordinary dining experience I ever had at Joel Robuchon Restaurant Ebisu, a sublime French restaurant in Tokyo. It was a feast for the senses, a symphony of flavors, a celebration of life.

The restaurant is situated in a splendid castle-like building in Ebisu Garden Place, a sophisticated shopping and dining complex. The inside is magnificent and refined, with glittering chandeliers, velvet curtains, and fine china. The service is impeccable, with courteous and knowledgeable staff who make you feel welcome and pampered.

The menu offers different courses, from six to seventeen, depending on how hungry and adventurous you are. We chose the degustation menu (¥55,000), which included a selection of appetizers, fish, meat, cheese, and desserts. The food was divine, with a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and presentation. Every dish was a delight for the senses, from the foie gras terrine with figs and port wine sauce to the roasted lamb with thyme and garlic. The cheese selection was marvelous, with fresh non-pasteurized cheeses from France that were rich and creamy. The dessert selection was equally marvelous, with a variety of cakes, pastries, and ice creams that satisfied our sweet tooth.

The sommelier was very helpful in choosing the wines to match each course. He explained the origin and characteristics of each wine, and how they complemented the food. We enjoyed a range of wines from different regions and grapes, such as Chablis, Pinot Noir, and Sauternes.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at Joel Robuchon Restaurant Ebisu. It was a gastronomic adventure that we will never forget. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves French cuisine and wants to treat themselves to a special occasion.

Oh. My. God.
What an amazing experience that was.
We went there to celebrate our honeymoon and birthdays, needless to say that we weren’t disappointed.
We took the degustation menu, that was modified to our desire prior to our arrival (we don’t eat pork).
The communication with the restaurant through emails was easy and the menu was just as expected.
The food was amazing, every dish was more surprising that the previous one.
We were FULL to say the least. It exceeded our expectations and the restaurant’s staff made sure that we’ll have the best night.
Let the pictures do the talking.
Highly recommended.

One of my favorite Michelin dining experiences to date! Fantastic service with great wine pairings and of course, amazing food. Everything was perfect from the detail in the presentation of their foods to each of the carts that came around. We only wished we had more space in our stomachs! Each dish was decadent to say the least and we loved pretty much everything they served! Their ingredients are some of the freshest and tastiest locally sourced ingredients around. I love that it’s still french cuisine but without too much of the heavy flavor profile as to match the palates of the Japanese. We spent about $450/$500USD a person including a glass of wine each, and it was worth every penny! They even sent us off with a freshly baked dessert! Easy to get reservations for online or through a concierge!

A great no frills smash burger that’s the perfect meaty meal to fill you up. I love that they have a vegetarian option for those that are vegetarian or would rather not eat meat and still eat a burger. Their impossible patties are every bit as good as their beef ones! I usually get a double cheeseburger and an order of their impossible fries and man does it hit the spot! Their house sauce is also AMAZING so definitely get it if you like your burgers with sauce. Their impossible fries have a patty (can be made with an impossible patty too!) cheese and is doused with their house sauce and grilled onions. Overall, it’s a quick turn around with each burger made to order, great service, but limited seating! It’s quite greasy but sometimes it’s just what you need!

The Christmas menu was creative and the dishes were overall heavy on flavours. There was some lack of professionalism when a waiter knocked over a vase on the table during service. One table of four was very noisy and detracted from the dining atmosphere.

I visited last night for celebrating our wedding anniversary. My husband and I ordered 30,000 Yen A course with a glass of wine. Every staff speaks English very fluently. Services were perfect. Interior is absolutely stunning. Of course, food was amazing. It was truly the ultimate gastronomical experience that I never had.

After visiting so many Robuchon locations, especially countless times to the one in Hong Kong over these years, I can confirm this one in Tokyo is on par with others, if not better.

The restaurant resides in a classy building which also accommodate a few other Robuchon brands. The sparkling dining hall with classical decorations, the high end tableware and cutleries, the very well presented waiters and waitresses, everything in this restaurant strongly conveys the sense of extravagance.

As with the food, it faithfully produces the classical Robuchon experience which I believe everyone can easily recall: vibrant, intense, playful. The bakery appears to be slightly better than their other branches, where they serve the tasty seaweed bread I can’t find elsewhere.

Imperial Caviar, beetroot and apple salad, soft boiled egg, lobster…… all these classical courses you can find in this degustation menu. Seeing the waiter completing the roast veal chop right next to the table brings a lot of joy.

When it comes to end of the meal, my habit is to have a double espresso with caramel sauce on side. If you haven’t tried so I can wholeheartedly recommend this combination!

Joel Robuchon Restaurant is a must visit for all food lovers and even more so for Robuchon admirers.

I have heard that Robuchon has the most Michelin Stars in the world, not sure if it is true, but Michelin 3 stars means that we must try it if possible. We chose the least expensive lunch set menu, Yen$12,000 per person and had the main course upgraded a bit. There were 4 carts, bread, deserts, cheese and chocolate, and you could choose whatever is on the carts and as much as you like, presumably! Of course, no one has that kind of appetite. They all looked really delicious and the ones we had were so. Our main courses were quite good too. Services were fantastic! CP was good! So why the 4 stars rating? Well, I didn’t quite liked the decor, the tables were placed in a way that’s not very “comfortable”, maybe too close, or too many round tables, felt like we were all in a group lunch, not sure! Also, they have a bar right across the hall way and the cigarette smell was coming into the dining room periodically, and the hall way was filled with that too, terrible! All the guests had to go thru the hall way to get in and out and to the bathroom while enjoying some second hand smoke!
