I had dinner at Gastromaniac in Tahoe and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the four-cheese pizza, and it was absolutely superb — perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful blend of cheeses that hit the spot.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Free parking was a nice bonus and made everything easy and stress-free.
I highly recommend Gastromaniac — it’s the perfect place for a cozy, satisfying meal on a winter night.

Hidden gem of Tahoe Italian cuisine- homemade pasta, choose your own sauce. Pizza is incredible with a fluffy crust. Reasonable costs and a casual environment with counter service. Can’t go wrong with an order here and can’t wait to come back next season.

This was a 10/10 experience, and has become one of our top eats in Tahoe. Our waiter had recommended the arugula prosciutto pizza, which was delicious. The crust was light and crisp on the outside with a nice chew on the inside — a great Neapolitan style pizza.

Really nice authentic Italian restaurant on Lake Tahoe Blvd. Staff are really friendly, food is really fresh, and interior is nicely designed and is clean. Definitely would come back any time I am craving Italian food in Lake Tahoe.

You want a great meal after being on that hike or hitting the slopes this is the place! The pizza and pasta are excellent and the service is super. While there isn’t much space in the restaurant for dine in the food is superb in or out! The burrata pizza is my favorite. The tiramisu was an excellent way to finish the meal.

In the words of my 6yr old “this is the best pizza ever!” And we agree! We had the margharita pizza (super thin crust), spaghetti with tomato basil sauce (not acidic or too sweet) and mafaldine ribbon flat noodle with meat bolognese (pasta was done perfectly). Absolutely delicious! The desserts were amazing as well. Atmosphere is very casual and family friendly. There is a kids menu as well. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

This place is not bad, but I am surprised at the high rating for food. We were quite disappointed with the pasta. Our bolognese was bland as there was no flavor, not even salt. And the pasta itself was slightly overcooked. The pizza dough was good, but the topping was too salty and greasy from the amount of cheese.
Service was good – they were super busy but accommodating. One main complaint was that they ran out of a drink and got us a replacement that costs less than what we paid for without offering a refund (you pay upfront at the counter).

I was introduced this restaurant from my Airbnb owner. This was so amazing. I ordered a pesto pasta and a tomato pizza. Both of them are authentic Italian taste and very delicious. I highly recommend you to try this if you come to Lake Tahoe.

After hearing so much hype about Gastromaniac Tahoe, I finally got to try it out. Overall, it was good — though not the best I’ve ever had. I definitely enjoyed the pizza more than the fusilli with meat Bolognese. The pizza has a thin crust and was packed with flavor. Just note that they only come in a 13″ size.
Parking was a bit of a challenge — limited and tight — but the experience was saved by our kind and attentive waiter. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice touch.
