I always order the same thing when I go here which is the eggplant rollatini with angel hair pasta, which is delicious. I also ordered the tiramisu and peanut butter pie which both were outstanding. The tiramisu is creamy and beautiful in presentation. It is available by the slice as well as whole cake. We ordered a whole tiramisu for a Labor Day bbq and it was a big hit. Not all tiramisu cakes are created equal, so I highly recommend this. The peanut butter pie is delicious too. It is creamy and not dry.
10/18/2021 – My SIL’s family and I just got back from a spur of the moment luncheon date consisting of 8 people. Gaspare’s was very accommodating. As usual my daughter and I ordered the eggplant rollatini with angel hair pasta, SIL ordered a Brooklyn pizza, his Mom ordered Buffalo wings, her husband ordered a chicken parmigiana sub, SIL’s brother order an eggplant sub, his wife ordered some sort of linguine with a white wine sauce and their daughter ordered cheese raviolis. My daughter, SIL and I all got tiramisu to go for later. Everyone loved all the food. We also ordered calamari and wings as an appetizer.

After calling and the lady being rude, I was told to bring the pizza back. After having to go over again while the pizza was bad. She seemed to not believe me. She also was super rude because six of my starving friends ate two pieces…. Had to leave my party, had to order from another place, was treated like a liar. Had to bring it back myself and lost $5 on a tip. Will never order again or go back.
Ordered two 16 inch pizzas just now. One was Hawaiian bbq and other buffalo chicken. Both pizzas were terrible! The Hawaiian is canned pineapple with sliced lunch meat. The buffalo chicken was so salty, I couldn’t even finish my first piece and the blue cheese dressing it came with looked suspect so didnt even both using. These pizzas cost me $59 delivered. This place came recommended… Could not have been worse.

Food is really good and the service was just as good. Clean, nice ambiance, cozy, and laid back. A little pricy but it’s worth it. We will be back again!

This has to be the diamond in the rough. What a fine. Been frequenting this place year after year. Consistently good. Gracious people run this place. Jennifer, the Chiefs wife could not be more sweet. I actually feel like family when I go there. The menu is vast. The food is fresh and brought to the table hot. Gaspare is a wonderful chef. The waitress are so nice and accommodating.
Will be back in 2 weeks. Only complaint is the size of the restaurant. But even with the restaurant being on the small size the customers don’t yell or scream. It is on the quiet side. Cannot wait to return.

Food is terrific. When we visit my brother’s family we always try to get their pizza and last night we got their wings from my brother raving that we had to try them. They are meaty and hot. Real blue cheese dressing not some imitation sauce. Highly recommend this place for their food.

A charming and cozy place with personable staff. The waitresses were all great with the kids (ages 11, 2, and 1). I appreciate the chicken tenders on the kids menu are not the typical frozen tenders. They are nice cutlets of chicken in a thin breading. Both my 2 year and 1 year old enjoyed it. The 11 year old enjoyed watching the Eagles game playing on the television which helped keep his attention. This is a very tight seating arrangement for dining, so not the place for someone claustrophobic or a very large person I think might feel uncomfortable, otherwise, it is enough space to enjoy a cozy time with friends and family.

My wife and I decided to ride to the shore today (10/30) for a lunch; we looked up a few places that had good references and chose Gaspare’s, largely because of the number of very good reviews. As you know, sometimes the reality does not live up to what is written. In this case however, I am more than pleased to say our experience was even better than the reviews. We were greeted pleasantly by Sandy who provided excellent information regarding the different dishes and wonderful service. The food was as advertised, which is to say delicious. We even had great interaction with one of the other guests. Can’t tell you how wonderful it is to visit a new restaurant and thoroughly enjoy your entire experience.

I’ve lived in the township for nearly thirty years, this is the only place that seems to know how to make a great pizza. Their pizza is always thin and crispy. And (if you request) they can do well done as well. My family and I love the food!

3-8-19 I ordered food from here last night. Wasn’t great. I’ve eaten in the restaurant before and food was great (Look at the older post below).
Ordered ravioli and a blackened chicken Caesar wrap. Frozen Ravioli from the grocery store would have been equally as good and a fraction of the price. Wife was not happy with her wrap… Only ate half of a half.
Don’t think I’ll do take out again but eating in will be a definite.
(Older post) Food was really good. Chicken parmesan was amazing and a large portion.

I was bold. Trying a new place with my very picky, VERY Italian father to feed. We did take-out…I had never been, only recommended that is was very good food. Seats about 35.
My father NEVER finds a meatball as good as my mom’s….and his first bit was “that’s a good meatball…and the sauce is no to acidic”
Great portions. (will get 3 meals out of pasta dish) Accommodated request for Veal & Peppers (not a listed entree) the 4 of us enjoyed an excellent meal for under $100.
Sign out front celebrating 40+ years….they are in a strip center that the landlord should be paying for THEM to stay….or offering a second unit cheap so they can expand. We will be back to test drive the pizza next!
