This is our second time eating here. Food was amazing last time. I ordered the same dish as last time, Roasted turkey and dressing but this time it didn’t have mashed potatoes and the carrots in the dressing were to big and they no longer had the fresh baked dinner rolls so was disappointed. would love to see the dressing with no carrots and the dinner rolls back.

This place is an amazing find! When u r on the road all u want is a little kindness from ur server and hot home cooked food! At most truck stops, if ur lucky enough to find one with a resteraunte, the waitresses r not overly friendly and food is nothing to really be excited about. This place has everything you could want and more. The prices are amazing and the helpings are plentiful! Truckers spend all day alone and could use a little kindness every once in awhile. They also love a good hot meal before bed that doesn’t cost 30 bucks. I hope everyone thru this way stops. You will not be disappointed. The food came out in a timely manner unlike most truck stop places and also came out hot! Enjoy everyone and thank you Gas Grill for being u and available to us!

Went again on 11/25/25 and the food was excellent, had the stuffed green peppers with your choice of potatoes, rice AND corn, soup AND choice of salad, and dessert. Two dinners with drinks for 30 bucks, and enough left over for each of us to have another meal. And our waitress was phenomenal (I believe her name was Harley)

Very expansive menu of traditional dishes. Lots of comfort food. Excellent service and VERY reasonable pricing. Serving size is large as well. I got the chopped steak which included green beans, rice w/gravy, grilled onions, baked potato. Cottage cheese, and ice cream for dessert. All pictured below. Total cost $13.50 including tax!!!

First off, the service was great! Friendly, helpful & attentive. Secondly, the food was delicious & very good price for what came with the meal. Very reasonable! Ambiance is cozy just like a family diner. I highly recommend! If I’m ever this way again I’ll definitely return!

Kind, attentive servers, generous meal portions ($16.99 salmon special came with rice, corn, choice of potato, soup, and salad. All that — “And”, not “Or” ! The staff brought me free cake and ice cream and sang me “Happy Birthday” … All I did was tell them it was my birthday. It was like a snapshot of how your parents may tell you family dining used to be.

This is one of the best truck stop restaurants we’ve ever been in. Sadly, most truck stops are switching to fast food and the good old truck stop restaurant is slowly dying out. They had a robust selection of comfort, food and steaks, chicken, breakfast, and many other american and international dishes. The portion sizes are very large. And for example, for $11.50, you could get a meatloaf dinner with salad, soup, potatoes, vegetables and dessert. Most of the other items are under $10. The service was fast and friendly.

Note to owners: I heard y’all are thinking about closing this place down and putting a hot box/fast food grab and go.
Please Do Not do that! As a over the road truck driver for 22 years places Gems like this are getting harder to find! All of us driver don’t want fast food restaurants, so I urge you not to close this place down. Not only would you be doing away with jobs but you would also be doing away with a Fantastic restaurant for us Drivers and travelers on the road..
I urge everyone to voice their opinion to the owners about this!!
