Welcome We Hand-Craft dishes designed for Taste, Quality and YOU! After decades of torturing my family trying out new dishes, I have finally got it right! But after all the years I have a bit of an attitude about my cooking. Come on in and say HI and enjoy some great food with us. I will be glad to fix you something delicious and share a great cup of coffee with you. Family owned and operated Gary opened his Rude Café on 5 April 2015 and it was a hot opening, so hot that we had a small fire on the 7th of May. The café is now going strong and all my staff takes pride in knowing they are part of the café and they are waiting for you to come on in and experience our family atmosphere!

They snubbed us last time… we got there at 3:30 and they closed at 3. They all just stared at us like weirdo’s… I get it, but we drive an hour and a half JUST for gary rude’s. Needless to say, we check the time’s now instead of assuming!
Poutine was the best here a few year’s ago. Pretty sure it took 3 or 4 year’s off my life from the greese, but it’s just good, hearty, country brunch!
Country Gravy > Brown gravy
Food was great! Prices the same as everybody else’s. They were friendly
All in All Great family restaurant. I will definitely be going back there.
( they have a snowman in the women’s bathroom, I want)
CLEAN RESTAURANT AWARD
FRESH CLEAN HOT FOOD AWARD
Stopped by for lunch Friday July 15th around 1:15 pm.
Great cafe atmosphere, very clean store. Had a super waitress with a big smile and a great story about living in the woods with her chickens!!
We ordered the days’ special, Fish and fries with coleslaw, and the Mushroom Swiss burger and fries. Also a side salad.
Everything was amazingly fresh, the food came out piping hot, steaming and delicious.
The special of the day was the Fish and fries. The breading was thin, not over-seasoned and very delicious. I asked for a slice of lemon too. The fries were nicely seasoned, and the coleslaw was a tiny bit bland for my taste, but it was very fresh and crunchy with a Mayo-based dressing. I finished it all.
The burger was magnificent. Juicy with a large portion of dripping melted Swiss cheese over a pile of sautéed mushrooms, and lettuce & tomato as you’d expect. Also the same seasoned fries were included.
My friend said it was one of the best burgers they’d ever had. The seasoning in the beef patty was excellent (patties are hand-patted daily and you can tell). In the picture, the burger was cut in half because it was huge and juicy! It is not a one handed sandwich!
All food looked clean and fresh along with the establishment.
Highly recommended
My server was prompt and friendly. Took my order right away. Restaurant was clean.
Good place for singles, couples or groups up to about 20! (Tables are currently set up for a group that’s not here yet)
Highly recommend!
Service was efficient & good.
I had a Denver omelet. The veggies tasted fresh & they used a good ham in it too.
Hubby had waffles, scrambled eggs & Wisconsin sausage Everything was very clean.
If you’re looking for a solid breakfast, stop here.
As for the person that gave a review for not being “kid friendly”, I didnt get that impression at all.
Perhaps it was the parents??
