We had an amazing time at Dolph’s, to Christine, our wonderful bartender. She’s not only awesome at her job but also fantastic at sparking engaging conversations. The outdoor area truly shines – it’s so welcoming, with a great selection of activities and a genuinely authentic Irish atmosphere that enhances the entire experience. While there are other places to explore in the area, Dolph’s is by far our favorite for its unbeatable environment. And even though they don’t serve their own food, it’s super convenient to grab a bite right next door in the same building

What a super cool place to hang out and have drinks! I was thoroughly impressed as this became one of my new favorite places to watch the game! The bar was clean, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was excellent. From the courtyard to the hideaway lounge area, you will not be disappointed with your visit.

What a great, gem of a bar! Excellent drinks, excellent service, and the atmosphere is perfect for just about anyone. Whether you want to drink socially in the main bar area, sit outside and watch a football game in the outdoor patio/bar area with their MASSIVE screen, or chill out and play chess in Dolph’s lounge. They really have a vibe for everyone.

Any Hawkeye football fan NEEDS to visit Dolph’s during a football game. The atmosphere is awesome! The beer was cold and reasonably priced. The outdoor courtyard provides such a neat experience for watching the game. Awesome place!

The cocktails were ok. My girlfriend liked her tropical drink. My old fashioned was just mediocre…the drink suffered from having a lot of small ice…more like chips than cubes. It got watered down pretty quickly.

Had to kill the entire day until our car was towed back home so we made time to stop by & check this place out. The bartenders all had a very friendly demeanor and showed us around. The decor is so unique & courtyard/patio is fantastic! We even had the pleasure of meeting Gary who was extremely kind and after hearing about our car breakdown, bought us a couple drinks! Great atmosphere & great staff! Thanks to all for the hospitality!

Amazing space downtown. In the same building as Back Pocket Micro Brewery. “Dolph’s” has an amazing courtyard surrounded by beautiful brick buildings, with seating, outdoor games, an outdoor bar and a giant HD TV to catch the game. Food had to be ordered through the micro brewery though. We went twice!
