A gem of a hangout, a real neighborhood bar. TVs for sports, plenty of regular locals. A sturdy menu with elevated classic bar foods. Makes me feel like I belong and I just got here!

Very nice corner bar/restaurant. Nice variety on the menu, and food quality was very good. My burger was spot on, my daughters both loved their fajitas. My wife’s chicken sandwich with something less than desirable, however. The hot honey, chicken kebab appetizer was excellent, and was a favorite for everyone.

Parking was limited, but we found spots in the back of the facility, and there was plenty of room inside. I think this is a fantastic destination during Villanova football games.

Great for happy hour drinks are great especially beers on draft. The food is not necessarily bar food. They need to have the same food flips has because flips food has a better menu. Food is still good. I’m there almost every Friday for happy hour always the same crowd.

My wife and I really enjoy Garrett Hill. The meals are outstanding and the drinks very generous. We dine at Garrett Hill (as well as Flip and Bailey’s) often and find the meals “scrumptious” and the staff friendly, outgoing, and personable. Dinner at Garrett’s is a wonderful “5 Star” experience. My boyfriend and I have been to Garrett Ale House a few times for Sunday brunch and we decided to check it out for dinner. Unfortunately I don’t think we will return for dinner. We’ve had good experiences with our Sunday brunch visits but last night for dinner was just disappointing. I got a few drinks and while both of those were good, the food was disappointing. It took us over an hour after ordering to get our meals. I got the caprese panini which I was so looking forward to trying, but the bread was soggy and cold and my fries were cold. My boyfriend ordered the marry-me chicken and while he said it tasted good we just wished the portion size could’ve been slightly bigger. We were given the check and had to wait for 25 minutes before someone came over for us to pay our bill. We’ve never had a problem during brunch and will likely return for brunch, but I can’t say the same about dinner here. Our server was super friendly and it was not her fault at all that they seem to be understaffed

First time visit. My wife and I loved the food (salmon and cod) with broccoli and yellow rice, nice tavern-like atmosphere. Great spot for a date night. We’ll definitely be going again.

The waiter was super chill and the brunch menu at dinner time helped me reminisce of my yummy egg sandwhich I had earlier this morning. The bathroom experience was to die for as the shower curtain substituting for a standard bathroom stall kept me on my toes as I never knew when a fellow customer may mistakenly walk in on me dropping logs. The bathroom experience kept me guessing as there were no toilet paper either. Truly a thrilling experience overall and I’d highly recommend. Flip and Baileys could never live up to this level of class and status.

I live nearby the Garrett Hill Ale House and I don’t know why I don’t go more often. Every time I eat there the food is great. We did eat there tonight and were reminded just how good the food is. They have a really nice menu , more interesting than most pubs and they also have many interesting specials . We really enjoyed our meal.

Last night, my boyfriend and I had dinner here and it was a very negative experience. We got Nachos, which were a $15 handful of Tortilla chips with unseasoned black beans, three charred jalapeños slices, melted American cheese, served on tin foil. I got the meat loaf, which was incredibly salty, burnt, and had the odd aftertaste of cigarettes. My boyfriend had the burger, which was overpriced and just ok. We understand that service was slow due to understaffing, but it was disappointing to wait so long for food that was not good.

This is our local haunt, come here often. Fantastic beer selection, and the food is (often) great. Four stars only because on our most recent visit, we received stale taco shells and undercooked pork tacos that had to be sent back. These were on two orders. The staff, however, was friendly and suggested other options.
