I haven’t ate inside the restaurant since I have done pickup via Door Dash several times.
Ordering via Door Dash is easy, fast, and the restaurant does an excellent job packaging up the food for pickup.
The food is always ready at the front at the host stand for you to pickup, and wrapped very well to keep the pasta hot.
I’ve had 3 entrees so far, and all 3 were excellent. I think anything and everything is excellent. The meatballs are truly homemade, and melts in your mouth.
This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a long time.
I like Rosebud on Rush in Chicago, and I would say this is similar to Rosebud. The ambiance, service, food, etc.

This was our 3rd time eating Garrozzo’s. First time was at a friend’s wedding, next time was for dinner and this time lunch. The food has been exceptional every time. We love the Sugo and anything there tastes great with it! We’ve had Chicken Spiedini, Toasted Ravioli, Meatballs, Meatball subs, and Capelli D’Angelo. Service has always been good and you can’t beat the atmosphere for a good italian meal. Our favorite place when visiting KC.

We dinner here last night and it was delicious! Service was excellent! Our server brought our drinks quickly. The timing between appetizers, salad, and entrees were perfect. Highly recommend. We made reservations in advance and were set on time as promised. I would recommend this restaurant and making reservations in advance to avoid a long wait. If you do have to wait, IT’S WORTH IT!

Garozzo’s serves consistently high quality fare each time we go. This visit was no exception. Our server, Jesus, was fabulous. Prompt and courteous, he kept our needs met without being obtrusive. Knowledgeable about the menu, he ensured we had exactly what we wanted. Definitely will be going back! Pictured are our meals, Chicken Spiedini Giovanni with angel hair pasta and Veal Spiedini Sophia Maria. The Giovanni style is an off-menu style that has lemon, capers, and olives.

This spot was highly suggested by a local coworker
Went Sunday afternoon, right around the 3pm opening. Definitely an old school Italian feel to the place. Dimly lit in Sinatra in the background.
Was seated and serve very quickly. Started with the Sicilian stuffed artichoke, which was delicious. Then chose the Bistecca Modiga with pasta for my entire. Both were rich and flavorful. Flavors I’ve honestly never experienced before. The medallions were tender and cooked to perfection
All and all a nice solo lunch experience with excellent service

I don’t like giving five stars but this deserved it seemingly effortlessly. Excellent wine list and server was knowledgeable. The meal was so good. The atmosphere was charming and the staff were all friendly. Don’t miss this spot.

Was all great until we had to walk back outside then upstairs to the back side of the building. Wife is handicap. That would have been nice to know. Just not the atmosphere I expected.
Food was great. Some was a little colder than I would have preferred.
Waitress was very friendly and patient.
Many amazing Original and specialty Italian dishes and desserts. A must try in the Downtown area.

We had an amazing experience at Garozzo’s, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Liza. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu really well, which made ordering easy and enjoyable.
Liza checked in at the perfect times, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything came out just right. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience. Service like that makes a good meal even better.
If you’re dining at Garozzo’s, ask for Liza—you won’t be disappointed!

Lasagna tastes like stouffer’s. Sauce is super thick and cheesy, barely any meat. Fried ravioli
I guess they are afraid of meat or something. Even their meat ravioli was all cheese somehow. I hate to say it, somehow Olive Garden is better than this. Shoo maybe even fazolis,

Came in for dinner solo on a Wednesday evening. I was told it would be at least an hour wait or I could sit at the bar. I chose the bar which is a little cramped. The restaurant has an old school Italian feel where I would assume there are a lot of regulars. I had one drink and then ordered the Garozzo Spiedini di Pollo which I had heard so much about. They give you some really good bread and butter to snack on while you wait. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The dish also comes with a side of pasta and Maggie’s sugo. I was not familiar with this. It seems like it’s just penne pasta with a red sauce. I didn’t like the sauce very much and maybe ate a third of the pasta. Would try to get something else next time. The Spiedini was very good. Chicken was very tender and had a nice sauce of lemon, olive oil, and herbs. First time having this and was very pleased. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and Spiedini. The side pasta was a letdown to me. I would be up for trying some other items. What I saw others eating all looked very good.
