First time enjoying this establishment since living in Richmond and without a doubt this will be a repeat location.
Ordered the cali club sandwich (turkey, avocado, mayo, bacon, and lettuce) with a side of chips. Also ordered the Belle sandwich which was made in their house made Boston Brown bread with a side of French potato salad.
Even though this location is small in size, it is mighty in flavors. The chips it was served with complimented the sandwich perfectly. As well as the potatoes with the house made bread.
We also took a slice of the banana cream pie to go. Ate that later at home and I wish we would’ve ordered a whole pie. The crust was D-E-V-I-N-E. Amazing flavor and the pie packed a punch of goodness.
I could definitely have this place weekly for any of their sandwiches and be one happy camper.

This place is a gem, cute and cozy. The food comes quick and always on point. I love the point guard with a side of potato salad in the window seat overlooking the park. They will also pack you a cute little picnic basket to take over to the park for a more intimate escape into the city. The server is always kind and polite. I really cannot recommend Garnetts enough, don’t take my word for it. Go check them out yourself!!

Awesome sandwiches with lots of great options to pick from. It’s a small and cozy little spot that fills up fast since it has become a Fan favorite over the years. Food comes out quick so wait times typically aren’t bad if you do have to wait. Not good for big groups but it’s a great date spot or place to catch up with a friend or 2 over lunch. Highly recommend checking out this spot.

Small, good for lunch, they have a $35 date special for two menu items and a wine so I’ll be back for that. The Leek and Potato soup was really good. The croque monsieur was good but the bottom piece of bread was so hard that I couldn’t cut through it with a steak knife. It was fine though, I just ate the rest. The atmosphere was cozy and nice.

Fantastic local lunchonette and “watering hole” offering an eclectic assortment of sandwiches , salads , soups , and desserts . Quite small, but very cozy, so expect to wait (well worth it) at peak times. Hidden at the corner of Park & Meadow, a gem of the neighborhood.
The cheese plate was Stella (no pun intended) with the creamiest Gorgonzola ever!
My Croque Garnett was quite tasty and accompanied by a luscious cup of Potato Leek soup . Now wishing I had tried one of the house-made desserts (I’m especially fond of pie and the daily special was Chocolate Chess !!) Will return to try the cold sandwiches which looked extremely tasty !!

Friendly local sandwich shop serving the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Prices are reasonable and the staff are welcoming. The desserts were also great and we loved the homey, vintage atmosphere!

I don’t mind that it’s small, and I don’t really mind that it’s not very diverse. But the food was just… alright. I’ve had better there before. I ordered a French potato salad, and I assumed Garnett’s was experiencing a potato famine with how little I got. Not to mention, I was thrown off by the fact I had to wait outside in the cold for takeout, considering how fast the service was (A+ for that)! Not to mention, I didn’t have a fork to go with my food. I still tipped, but I thought this should be known. I probably won’t return and hope there will be some change in the future for others. Much Love!

I finally made it to Garnett’s and I’m so glad I did! It’s exciting to find a sandwich shop that offers gluten free bread! Plenty of delicious vegetarian options too. The service was excellent! Did I mention Garnetts also had GF and vegan dessert options. We opted for the GF pistachio pie and it did not disappoint!
