The one star reflects the fact that everything combined, we won’t be back. Had heard a lot about this place and seen it several times. Decided to give it a try on a Saturday night and were very disappointed. Waited about five minutes for a host to seat us with no mention of any wait. Once seated we ordered Happy Hour beers and were surprised that instead of two beers for the price of one, we each received two beers. This turned out to be a good thing because little did we know it would be an hour before we got food, so might as well stay hydrated. Then as everyone mentions, chips & salsa for $6.99 were delivered. Once those were gone and our server had been to the table several times to let us know they hadn’t forgotten our order, we started to get hangry. At one point we were offered complimentary birthday sundaes for the long wait (we never received that). Over an hour later after letting our server know we were ready to leave, she said give her three minutes and to our surprise she returned with our meals. The servings were large. That’s the best thing I can say about them. They were flavorless and for the price paid very disappointing. We heard someone at the table next to us compare the red sauce to ketchup. They were spot on. My husband was unable to distinguish his green sauce from the beans. Still not sure he even got green sauce. We each left over half of our meals on the table. Upon leaving we spoke with the Manager who seemed like there was zero concern on customer satisfaction. We were clear then that we would not be back, we just chalk this pricey disappointment to lesson learned.
Edit: At a friends insistence we did return a year later. We were pleasantly surprised. The flavors of the food and the service were much better. We may have hit a bad night initially, not sure what happened, but that initial review stands for that experience. We have tried several different dishes now and the general experience has been good. Recommend the chicarones for an appetizer, fajitas, steak mexicana and tacos. Still haven’t tried the “red sauce” again, so I can’t say if that has improved.

Had the Family Sampler Appetizer to try it all and everything was wonderful! Yummy green chile! Carnitas tacos are great and the Cielo Mar y Tiera was so flavorful and very spicy! Fantastic service!

I was looking for some amazing Mexican food. Loved the name, thought I would give it a try. Absolutely brilliant choice on my part. I had the burrito supreme and it was superb. I’m saving some for lunch tomorrow. The order was plentiful. And So So Good! Highly recommend.

Very nice server, good food but HUGE portions! We went for happy hour and got 2 for 1 drinks. My house margarita was decent but I would’ve liked more salt on the rim. I got the veracrusanas which are 4 enchiladas in diablo sauce. Very spicy and I LOVED it. I just couldn’t finish it because of how huge it was! My friends also liked their food but couldn’t even finish half. The hot salsa with the chips was very good. Ambience was spacious, clean and very inviting. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful surprise!! First time ever and it was wonderful!!! The staff were kind,informative, and waited on us quickly..And the food? Exceeded our expectations with quantity,and flavor along with fast service! When I say the plates were stacked with food and flavor, I mean just that! Food was hot,presented beautifully and what ever you desired you got! Substitutions were not an issue and we had a few,but our server was so sweet and the restaurant was busy as Sunday was also 2 for 1 happy hour all day!! The bartender was so busy but still mixed our drinks magnificently as well as every other patron. I can not say enough wonderful things about this establishment because 1.There is just not enough kind words to say. We will be back and I will tell

We drive from Colorado Springs, they are that good! Authentic Colorado/New Mexico food that use green & red chili not sauce! Their sopapillas are excellent! Waitress was sweet & friendly! Great experience, and great food! One of Pueblos gems!

I usually have a good time eating there . But today was the worse day. The beans didn’t taste as good as they usually do and the Chile was missing something. I wasn’t very happy with my dinner and I paid to much for the food. I will not be going back to eat here again. For is way over priced and they need to up the taste of the food. Last time I ate there the food was so delicious maybe they have a new cook,but what ever reason the food should always be made with love through every bite.

1st time there at this main location. Was at their satellite location before. Wanted a little too long just to be “noticed ” to just order drink. Seemed a little confusion on who was supposed to be my server. Seemed like finally a n owner? Stepped in to greet me. A little loud in there for atmosphere. There is a bar as well with boisterous people. So not really a “dining” experience. Maybe some sound treatments would help. Service finally became good. No problem. Food was very good. Overall very good. Recomend this place.
