This place is a true throwback. The atmosphere is straight out of 1990, there are photos of little league teams still on the walls from 20 years ago! It’s a nostalgia that will either make you feel young again or make you feel sad about how old you are.
Now, about the pizza…It’s actually not bad. They’ve been in business for 40 years for a reason, it’s solid pizza. The crust is thin, the sauce is tasty and the cheese is fine. Not a ton of flavor but just a solid pizza.
It is cash only (as every other review mentions) and the prices are a bit high. 2 slice lunch special with a small soda is almost $7!
Overall, try it. It’s a spot that I would stop at again to try something else on the menu (as long as I have cash). If nothing else check it out just to step back in time to the 80s/90s.

A small mom & pop pizzeria with classically renowned recipes and a convenient location. They did close early on me and prevented me from picking up my phone order on one occasion but other experiences have been quite positive. Expect typical pizzeria facilities with a minimalist dining area.

Excellent pizza! We got an extra large with extra cheese (well done of course), and it was perfect.
In an area that is not known for great pizza, Gargano’s stands tall.
Some of the nicest people too. When we called to order, my son said, “wow that lady was really nice!”. Then I went in for pick up, and I met Joe Gargano, the owner. What a pleasant guy!
We will be ordering all of our pizza from Gargano’s from now on.
