Myself and my friends have dined here for years and it has been consistently a great place. The staff is friendly, fast, and great to deal with. The food and bar menu are wonderful and they have a good variety. The dishes are plated well and they are consistently well done. I highly recommend as I have never had a bad experience or food at this restaurant!

We had lunch here on August 9th and the food was pretty good. The service started off amazingly fantastic, but slowly declined to the point that we were ignored. Our waitress Mickie, seemed focused on all other customers. We will most likely come back. Hopefully she will be more attentive or we get someone better.

There was plenty of parking at dinner time. The atmosphere was cozy. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The hostess who seated us was very nice. The food was pretty good. I had beef fajitas. I thought they could have used a bit more flavor, but otherwise, the food was good. The fried ice cream was a nice treat. It did seem to take a while for our food to arrive at our table. A little pricey. It was nearly $20 for fajitas with rice and beans. Our bill for two meals, water for our beverage, and two fried ice cream before gratuity was just over $58.

Staff were friendly but a bit slow with service. The food was plenty but lacked flavor/seasoning. I was disappointed in the green chile stew as it lacked potatoes and had ground beef and the chile con queso was very plain (even with the roasted green chile in both). Otherwise, it was decent and relaxing.

We visited the Cottonwood location for dinner with my family and the moment we walked in the experience was HORRIBLE. The customer service was unacceptable. There was no one at the host station which I understand happens. No big deal, but there was a couple in front of me. When she came back The host told them to have a seat. They started walking towards the booths to sit down and the host asks how many. Only seeing the minimal interaction, I thought she was talking to them. When I didn’t answer, in a very rude tone she said “I asked you how many!” The face she made was like she was completely Inconvenienced by having to do her job. Never have I had an experience at ANY restaurant with the staff addressing people that way. I will definitely reconsider returning again after this. The food isn’t that good to be treated that way.

I had a very disappointing experience with Garduño’s Mexican Restaurant on Coors. I ordered chicken taquitos for a to-go order and when I got home, I discovered they were actually beef. I called immediately after getting home and realizing the mistake, but no one answered so I left a message explaining what happened.
I called back the next day and the person I spoke with told me there was basically nothing they could do to fix it. No offer to replace the order, no credit, no apology — nothing. It felt like they didn’t care at all that the order was wrong.
Apparently the expectation is that customers should open their food at the carryout window and break apart items like taquitos to check if they’re correct before leaving. That’s not reasonable when you’re ordering food to go.
Very poor customer service and no effort whatsoever to correct their mistake. Extremely frustrating experience and definitely not the level of service you’d expect from a restaurant that’s been around for so long.

Came here with some long-time friends and had such a great experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and our night felt really special. Irma lisa is an amazing manager she stopped by our table to check on us and made sure we were taken care of. You can tell she really cares about the guests. Definitely one of my favorite spots

Me and my wife went for our anniversary lunch because we love Mexican food. We both ordered The same thing hers was smothered with red and green chili and I told the waiter to put no chili on mine when he brought the order both of them were smothered so I had to send mine back, which was a inconvenience because my wife ate before me kind of sucks when you’re watching Someone eat and you’re just sitting They’re waiting. Waiter was nice about it, but I wasn’t offered anything for the inconvenience which is disappointing.

Not much in gluten free options. Almost noting at all. That beeing said the food was good average for Mexican food. The service was good the waiter was nice and got us all our refills early. But when I actually needed one later on I never got it. Only talked to her to order when she brought out the food then as she brought out the check. At least once during the meal would be good. But alas

I honestly hadn’t been to Garduño’s in YEARS! I read a review about the food tasting like the original restaurant when it was small and family owned back in the day. Decided to give it another shot. The food was delicious! Big portion, service was excellent and it was a great experience. I wish the chile had more heat, but the flavor of it was fantastic. I will definitely be going back!!
