After a colleague recommended this spot, we decided to drop by. It has a cozy, homely vibe and great outdoor seating for nice days.
Since the weather was nice, we opted for the outdoor seating, which was perfect.
The food—specifically the Veg Thai and Chilli Basil fried rice—was delicious and the portions were generous.
I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back to explore more of the menu

Good service – the staff at the cashier was very friendly and even took the time to explain the desserts available. We ordered quite a few dishes: the steamed barramundi with garlic and chilli was fresh and flavourful (though I wish it had a little fire underneath to keep it warm). The jungle curry was spicy with a nice hint of herbs, and the drunken noodles were yummy and spicy too. Portions were a bit on the smaller side. The pineapple rice was tasty but a little wetter than I prefer, while the tom yum soup with seafood was alright. The stir-fry cashew with beef was also flavourful. Pleasant, clean environment with an extensive menu. I’d definitely go back to try more dishes.

Well where to start? From the flavors, portions, atmosphere and friendly service, this place has everything going for itself. Even amidst a booming rush, staff manages to remain efficient and accommodate everyone to the best of their ability and go out of their way to please and make everyone satisfied, in a homy atmosphere. As a seasoned Thailand traveler and soon to be resident, I am pleased to say that the food is spot on and amongst the best you’ll get around. Definitely a place I will go back to, and invite people to. Great for a date too! Bring her to the quiet outside garden. 🙂

The food was so delicious, with authentic Thai flavors. There was a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The spicy pork rib soup was amazing, just like the one in Thailand. I’ll definitely go back to try other dishes. The restaurant atmosphere was like sitting in your own backyard garden, very relaxing. Highly recommend

Food were still great! My friend commented that they have one of the best Pad Thai noodle as it wasn’t too sweet. Great little restaurant to catch up.
Haven’t been to Garden Thai for ages, decided to try it again for a friend’s birthday. Food were delicious especially the 3 flavoured fish and papaya salad, could taste the freshness of the food, although I would prefer a bit spicy, but it’s only me, I love spicy food 🙂 might request to add chilli next time 🙂 service was good. Table was a bit too small for 5 people as we ordered few dishes, but it was all good. Prices were reasonable. Overall highly recommended, will definitely be back again.

Don’t let the quaint pretty decor fool you! The food is as authentically Thai as one can get. Everything we had was on point. Highlights for us was the Fried Fish, the special Pork Jowl and the clear Tom Yum soup (which packs a serious spicy punch even as a chilli lover). Kids had pad Thai and Hokkien Mee which had great wok-hei(wok breath). A great meal indeed!

Found this little gem unexpectedly. Ordered Stir Fried Cashew Nut with Chicken and Thai Fried Rice with Vegetables/Tofu. Food was delicious!! Really enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant. Will return to try more other dishes 🙂

We came here on Tuesday night for a dinner. Nicely set up residence turned into a restaurant.
Toilets were super clean, family and wheelchairs friendly.
Parking was easy and it was windy and cold. Staff were super friendly and helpful, shut the window for us. We ordered Tom kha, chicken pad see ew, 3 flavoured fish, and chicken phik khing. Flavour wise, they were pretty good. However the chicken and fish were quite hard to chew. If they could tenderise them, those dishes would be perfect. Overall experience was good. Will try again in the future.

One of the best Thai Food in Perth. The portion is big enough for sharing. Must try their crispy pork belly kailan, fried fish, pineapple fried rice. Reservation might required to secure dine in place especially during weekend.

The dining area is absolutely beautiful. Such a nice place to eat with friends, family or on a date. The staff was pleasant. We ordered medium spice level but the food came out very very very spicy. And that’s spicy for all of us that are south east asians being able to tolerate spice. Food was amazing so next round will reduce the level of spiciness.
We had papaya salad, stir fry bamboo with beef and red curry. Papaya salad and red curry is really good. The bamboo was average.
