A little bit on the pricey side if you get “all you can eat” but seriously worth it. It’s a large area inside but be prepared to wait if you come at lunch or dinner time. Seafood is of good quality, the meats were frozen but very high grade and fresh. Sauces are plenty, and lots of other things to eat/order. There is a time limit so don’t dally too long and leep eating!

All you can eat shabu. Korean owned great restaurant. Fresh everything. All ingredients are well displayed and maintained often. There must be a reason why this place are being loved by locals. I saw so many non Korean owned, and they did not meet my expectations. This one is so money worth it. About $40, endless fresh meat. Servers are all professional. I will definitely bring my close friends and families again here.

Amazing hot pot place. HUGE selection of things to put in. And it’s all delicious! Loved the fatty and non fatty beef especially. The pork ribs off the grill menu is really good but takes a while to come out, so order it early.

I like to go there during weekdays because of the price. It is a bit higher during weekend. However there are so many fresh choices and no other place can beat this Shabu Shabu place.

This is my favorite hot pot place in the area. It has a great variety of vegetables, sides dishes, fish balls, noodles, dumplings, etc. it even has a self station for shave ices, soft serve and Korean dessert! The price is very reasonable for the choices. I always left there feeling stuffed.

⭐️ Zero Stars (Even one star is too generous)
We visited Garden Shabu to celebrate a family birthday.
We fully understood that the restaurant was busy and that there were many people waiting.
However, being busy is not an excuse for rudeness or a lack of responsibility.
✅ First, the experience was unpleasant from the moment we ordered.
When we spoke to the server, he responded only by nodding, without verbally answering. There was no basic communication, no sense of willingness to serve, and no basic service mindset. From that point on, it felt like the mood of the entire evening was already ruined.
✅ Second, there was absolutely no basic table service.
Even for a buffet-style shabu-shabu restaurant:
No one ever checked if the food was okay.
Not a single plate was cleared from the table.
We were seated for nearly two hours and felt completely ignored, as if our presence didn’t matter.
✅ Third, the food quality and management were also problematic.
Some of the meat had an unpleasant smell and was inedible. Vegetable refills were consistently delayed, forcing us to wait. If being busy means food quality control and refills break down, that is a sign the restaurant should limit customers—not expect guests to accept it.
✅ Finally, the breaking point was how they handled the birthday cake.
We had brought and entrusted a cake in advance for a family birthday. We understood this restaurant normally plays a birthday song and offers a simple celebration.
Instead, this is what happened:
A staff member brought the cake and asked, “Are you eating this here?”
→ Why else would we have brought and entrusted the cake? This question alone showed a complete lack of awareness and care.
When we complained at the counter, we were repeatedly told, “It’s the server’s responsibility, talk to the server.”
After asking again, we were told to wait because the person in charge was “too busy.”
Eventually, the cake was brought back and handed to us in a manner that clearly implied, “Do it yourselves.”
To treat guests celebrating a family birthday with an attitude of
“We’re busy, handle it yourselves”
seems to be this restaurant’s standard approach.
As a result, we spent close to $500, the birthday celebration was completely ruined, and we left after barely eating—almost feeling pushed out.
We understand that many people were waiting outside.
But if a restaurant cannot provide even basic respect and responsibility to guests they have already seated, then they should not be accepting more customers in the first place.
✅ One final point:
Looking at recent reviews, complaints about poor service appear repeatedly. Despite this, the restaurant continues to justify inadequate service simply by saying they are “busy.”
Being busy may be temporary, but this level of rudeness and service failure is clearly an operational and attitude problem.
I do not recommend this restaurant, especially for families or special occasions.

I have never been to a Korean hot pot place before, but I had a good experience here. The service was good and the place was huge. They have a massive variety of veggies, meats, foods to pick from. The meat quality was underwhelming. I had a good Time here. I love how they have matcha soft serve and a Bingsu option for dessert. I love the sauce bar too. I highly recommend the person that would come back.

2.5- My overall experience was disappointing. I was looking forward to eating hot pot and other Korean dishes. First of all, they did not serve us any water in the beginning, so I needed to ask them to serve us water. After we ordered, each of us got a pot, and we grabbed food and started boiling. Then we realized one of the pots wasn’t boiling, even after waiting 10 minutes, and my dad and I had already started eating. So we asked the waiter why this isn’t boiling and he said that it’s because there is too much food all at once. We were disappointed because the waiter did not try to solve the problem but instead he avoided it and just told us to wait longer. Another disturbing moment we encountered was that while I left the table to grab more food, the manager came to the table and asked my parents if she could turn off my induction, and my parents said no because I was still eating.
It was my second time visiting, and I had a great experience in my first time so I was looking forward to this experience but it was totally the opposite. The food was good overall(especially the shaved ice) but the service we got was not good enough to give more than two stars.

The vegetables and meat were super fresh and the servers are really kind. There are many ways to customize your hotpot as they have many sauces, vegetables, meats, etc.

After trying a few of the hot pot restaurants in the northern NJ area, this is my favorite. They have a very diverse offering and their prices are very reasonable. The area is clean, the staff is friendly and quick to respond, and the food stations are well stocked. I normally come here for buffet only and I’m pretty satisfied but if you want seafood and meat, it’s not that much more expensive. For dinner, they also offer grilled meats. The ingredients are always very fresh and the kimchi station is a huge plus. We always end the meal with some shaved ice and green tea soft serve, which is included.
