Never thought they’ll serve healthy and delicious food! It was totally unexpected. Food was very tasty but not salty at all! Great flavors. Such an unforgettable experience and will definitely be back whenever we’re back in the area. Very clean especially their restrooms. The only part we didn’t enjoy is the music video, and I would say that parking can be limited. Highly recommended. We ordered Lamb shish kebab, Beef Stroganoff and Napoleon dessert. Super loved them all!

Not in love. Seriously, I wanted to love this place since there are limited choices for central Asian/eastern European cuisine. The food however, felt short of the Mark.
I have included photos of the menus since the prices have changed from the ones previously on this site.
We tried the potatoes with mushroom hot appetizer. It garlicy key, but otherwise lacked much in the way of flavor. I think the potatoes had been previously prepared and partially fried. I realized the price of ingredients have gone up and restaurants have raised their prices. But potatoes have not gone up that much and I had selected it from one of the old menus online.
My wife had the chicken cutlets with mushroom sauce. while the chicken cutlets were good, the mushrooms tasted old and had little flavor.
I had the lamb shank with mushroom sauce. I also had selected a side of grilled vegetables. The lamb shank was done perfectly and the meat fell off the bone. The mushroom sauce, however, was lacking as described previously. Furthermore, the grilled vegetables were charred. Timing is everything with grilled vegetables.
Or at all, it was an adequate meal, but I don’t feel compelled to return to try their other options.

The place was a little hard to find, but sure was worth it. I love Georgian food, and order Khahcapuri (cheese pastry) whenever I have a chance. These were one of the best I’ve ever tried. Other food was also great, and service is very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

That is a hidden secret in Sarasota, Florida I Strongly suggest that if you want to please your pallet With the taste of Russian food do not hesitate to come to garden of joy Sarasota, Florida. It’s our favorite spot. The owners are amazing and generous as well. Please support them if I could leave 20 stars I would.

While in Sarasota for the appt, I decided to stop by Garden of Joy for a quick lunch/early dinner. Parking situation wasn’t great and it took me a while to find a spot, but I def enjoyed yummy food. Oxana was my server and was very attentive and quick to take an order as I was def in a hurry. Sliced tongue served w fresh horseradish was delightful and reminded me of my childhood, Khinkali was served , but I had to take it w me as I had a travel in front me. Khinkali was juicy and very flavorful, wished I had enjoyed it at the restaurant not in my car navigating insane Sarasota traffic. Hope to come back for another visit and enjoy other menu items.

We had a great experience with this restaurant! Found it by accident while Googling restaurants near us while we were visiting the area. The food was fresh and very delicious! Gordon Ramsey would be jealous ! This place truly deserves a Michelin star! You would not be disappointed!
