This was my first time coming here, and I came specifically to try the Hainan chicken. It was really delicious — very flavorful and tender.
All the other dishes were also good. My favorites were the salt and pepper tofu and the salt and pepper smelt fish.
The cold mixed beef tripe was very tasty as well.
The prices are reasonable and not expensive. I will definitely come here often.

Been wanting to try this location since my sister in law was raving about their Hainan chicken dish. She was right! I tried their Hainan chicken over rice and mom tried their shrimp with pork wonton noodles soup. Awesome. Delicious. I also tried their milk tea and coffee hot. It was also good. Would I go back, yes. The service was good and there was plenty of street parking.

Came in to try the Hainan chicken and it didn’t disappoint. They have a $10 deal for the first plate; extras are regular price, but still a good value. The rice was super flavorful and the chicken was tender and juicy.

The place is very kid-friendly. They had a highchair ready, and our server brought our toddler a bowl, plastic utensils, and a plastic cup for water without us even asking! Such a nice touch.

Our server was kind and helpful the whole time. Great experience—we’ll definitely be back!

If you like traditional Hong Kong hole in the wall restaurant, this is the place for you. I found this restaurant when I was driving by and noticed they change owners. So I decide to give a try and to my surprise The dishes are that I order are very authentic Cantonese dishes that you normally find in the whole in the wall type of restaurant.
As of 01/27/2026 They now have a special going on. When you purchase in the restaurant, for every $50+ you spend you get a coupon. If you spend over $100 in the restaurant, you get 1/2 海南雞.

It’s where the old Fat Wong used to be.
The food is okay. Fried foods taste like the oil hasn’t been change for a while, not fresh. Had beef chow fun. They didn’t have fresh fun noodles, used the dry type that needs to be soaked in water. Their Hainan Chicken Rice was tasty and good, overall quality and taste were okay. Don’t think will need to return. It was better before as Fat Wong.

I used to dine-in and get take out at Fat Wong’s (pre-pandemic). Unfortunately, I hadn’t been back to Fat Wong’s since the pandemic. My dining curiosity was peaked when I recently saw Garden Kitchen open up in its place. I found solid reviews on Google and Yelp so I made my first visit there with my wife today (January 8th) at about 1100. We ordered beef chow fun, chicken pan fried noodles, and the salt and pepper chicken wings.

The food was all around tasty and the service was solid. The portion sizes were good given the moderate prices. More guests arrived shortly after we sat down. Quite a few guests ordered the Hainan chicken with rice. I’ll definitely have to give that a try next visit.

I’m “ABC” (American Born Chinese) so I’m not the best judge of authenticity, but I know what tastes good to me. I liked all three dishes we had today. My wife and I frequent Hing Lung, which is located just two miles north of Garden Kitchen, but we’ll certainly come back to this place too.

Sorry, no food pics to share in this review. The food looked good.

Been here a few times service has always been really good the food was really good no complaints, the noodles are really silky no ammonia smell or taste, wontons are meaty the wraps weren’t soggy, the roast duck had crunchy skin and really good duct taste not overly fatty. The price is the price it’s 2025 going on to 2026 we got to keep these local businesses up and running and trust them for their due diligence to prices out in a fair manner… thank you for the good lunch today guys! Happy holidays and happy New Years!

Didn’t recognize most items on the menu. Ordered all sorts of stuff, noodles, dumplings, wonton, and everything was really good. Great price and great spot.

Came for dinner with my husband as we stayed one night near the airport. My husband had the roasted duck noodle soup and I had the shredded duck meat stirred fry noodles. Both came very fast and in a very generous portions. The roasted duck noodle soup was delicious but my shredded duck meat stirred fry noodles was just ok. There’s only little shredded duck meat and tasted quite bland. The price was ok and very friendly staff. Not bad for a quick meal.
