I took my Mom here at 5 pm on a Wednesday evening. It was slow and quiet, great for catching up. The coffee was delicious and the pre-meal rolls were soft and warm.
Maddy our Server was sweet and attentive.
We got the Jalapeno poppers as an appetizer. They were hand made and amazing!
The portion sizes were huge! We could have split one meal and had leftovers.
Mom got the half Chicken entrée, it is literally half a chicken.
I got the beef tips which were tender and tasty. And the Mac and cheese side was a large serving.

The Garden Grill is an exceptional restaurant with stately interior. Here you will experience the finest dining in Weirton. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The chef and bartender are world-class. We had a lovely afternoon. Went for cocktails and appetizers. We had the back outdoor room to ourselves. Cocktails were top-shelf, finely concocted. We recommend the blackberry-infused vodka martini and the Aquarium with three rums, curacao, pineapple juice. For appetizers, we had three delicious starters–pierogies with bacon and sauteed onions, creamy crab risotto, and smoked wings with blue cheese–plus the roasted Brussel sprouts with bacon. And, the four of us split the chocolate ganache cake. Everything was perfect. I live out-of-state but plan to return on future trips.

The restaurant was clean, the service friendly and the food was served timely, and with nice presentation. I generally order wings as an appetizer, and they offer a nice variety. The garlic parm wings came hot, and looked great, but the taste was more akin to a sweet bbq, with shredded parm on top, and not a typical buttery garlic base. My Garden (Pittsburgh style) salad was well made, and had a nice homemade French dressing, while my guest had a stacked pulled pork sandwich and salad. The sandwich portion size was great, the pork was a good average sandwich. The atmosphere was pleasant, and everyone was nice, but with many other option in that area, this would be my third or fourth choice.

Everything was wonderful and delicious! The portions are out of control…in a good way. I will have leftovers for a few days! All the games were playing on the TV so if you’re big into sports you won’t miss a thing here.

I showed up one Tuesday night for cigar event. Twenty clams for 2 quality cigars (RomaCraft that night) and some nibbles that consisted of meatball sliders, chicken wangs and tater chips. Lemme tell you, this is a deal.
The cigar lounge portion of the restaurant was well appointed and comfortable. Wait staff was super friendly and accomodating. Though my bill was confused with another patrons by the end of the night, I was nonplussed since all of the other aspects came together so nicely. I’ll definitely be back.

Went for a early dinner with family and I was not impressed with dinner. I ordered the hamburger and the size was good, but the taste wasn’t. It did seem to be a little over priced on somethings. The burger had little flavor and the fries had a good season on them. Service was fast and friendly.

No meaty flesh with the cod…looked more like tilapia…very dry…WAY TOO SPICY seasoning. Broccoli dry and flavorless. Rice…is that Uncle Ben’s microwaveable pouches? Also…nice touch with the King’s Hawaiian Sweet Roll straight from the package… Terrible, terrible food. For the prices being charged, there should have been a chef touch of some sort…there was not…people buy the same quality in a package at the local Walmart. I won’t go back. $106 for 3 people, and for 1/5 of that, you can get exactly the same quality from the grocer.

The Australian wagyu was beyond compare. The duck fat fried potatoes were exquisite. And dessert, was maybe the most decadent thing I’ve ever eaten. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to go.
