Unfortunately, we must have caught them on a bad night, since friends had been there previously and enjoyed it. First there was an issue with our reservation, and two other parties also waiting. They sat us all upstairs and were definitely not prepared to use the space. We were missing some utensils, glasses etc for our party of 8.
After waiting a bit to order drinks, once received they were yummy. We ordered apps and those were fine.
However, the meals took a very long time. After we had been there 2+ hours already, we asked the manager and he said they were being plated and arrived 10-15 minutes after that. Sadly most were cold. My filet mignon was raw, instead of medium. I asked them to just take it off the bill instead of waiting longer to eat.
The manager did credit us for the steak and two of the apps which was nice. It was just not a good dining experience for the price tag.
*One bright spot was our waiter – he did his very best under less than ideal conditions!

The food was good but the service non existent. The host was nice but the waiter preferred to hide. Overall has a nice quiet upscale vibe. Homey environment with nice traditional decor. The chicken francese was excellent and meatloaf as well. The only issue we had was the waiter had nothing to contribute. Considering these prices I expect at least the happy greetings I get a the local applebee’s. Maybe ask if the food us ok after serving it. Maybe ask if I want another drink seeing my glass is empty. Maybe show your face occasionally. Maybe I don’t have to leave my seat to ask for something like a napkin or dessert? And the place was almost empty! But otherwise, the chicken franchese was excellent. So was the meatloaf. Our complements to the chef.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Alyssa went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. I recommend the place beyond beautiful and recommend seeing Alyssa all the time. She made everything so smooth and stress-free.

My daughter had salmonella poisoning at the Mothers Day brunch , not only denied it but so did the health department. Guess who is friends! Too much to type , ended up the hospital because of severity under quarantine had to cancel her bachelorette party, lost the money. Rebooked it only to have her relapse – in the hospital again as I type this- another trip cancelled – wedding in 18 days . We can only hope it clears her system . Nothing from you expect the offer of a prayer ???!!!! Sorry , not good enough . And yes the Dr confirmed it was from poultry – the one chicken wing she ate at your restaurant. Thanks for reaching out with concern that you put a young woman in the hospital, oh wait – you didn’t !!!! Thank you to the amazing nurses who decked out her hospital room to cheer her up

Garden Grill had an Oktoberfest menu during the Fall, so we’ve stopped by to try out traditional German dishes like the Potato Pancake and Schnitzel. The Schnitzel was thinly breaded and tender – perfect to our liking! Service was fast and friendly. Great restaurant with delicious food.

We have gone to garden grill maybe two or three times. Older crowd, mid 60’s. The bartenders r the WORST. Don’t even look at you when you ask them for a drink -they ignore you. The one bartender per the owner Fred said he was having a “melt down”! Not my problem. The same bar tender said to us – that’s not the way you ask for a drink!? We had to tell
him to look around- no eye contact

My wife and I have gone here over many decades. We got engaged here, almost 25 years ago. The food was outstanding including the sample platter of appetizers. The salmon and my lamb were prepared wonderfully.
We had the lunch menu. Service was perfect. We moved so we don’t get there as often as we would like. Loved it.

A great place for a nice meal!
We made reservations for their Christmas Eve dinner. It wasn’t too crowded and the workers were really friendly.
The crab cakes were a great start to the meal. It had a nice flavor and a light crisp. The mango salad on top was a nice addition.
The soup was also really good.
The main dishes were great but the risotto was a little on the mushy side and the flavor didn’t really stick out to me.
Overall, this is a great place for some classic dishes!

I sat outside in a beautiful garden. The food was delicious. The hot rolls were so good and the apple crisp with ice cream was the perfect way to top off this delicious lunch. I will be back

Didn’t have a great service or food first visit so tried again today. Service was better, however food still very poor relative to the cost. For example, chicken pot pie was no better than frozen food version (soggy, salty, without any bottom and barely a side crust). The sea bass was deeply fried (including bottom burned) and presented as an oversized, overcooked fish stick. Still a cozy atmosphere…but recommend sticking to the bar menu/appetizers only.
