A must go!! Menu is beautiful and eclectic! The owner is a hometown woman and comes out to greet all of her guests!
Staff is so friendly! Been there for years and have great clean appearance but also serve you quick and worth the quickness for lunch breaks!
They make sure your glass is never empty! You don’t have a wait for your food but it’s also cooked to order. Nothing sits around!
The decorations are so eclectic, feels like stepping into a foreign land with a great vibe and atmosphere! It’s more quiet, we don’t take children there and don’t see others; as most lunches are the city officials and business class and not quite the environment for the kiddos during business lunches and/or private bridal lunches or shower parties w/lunches!

Checked this place out while working in the area. I cant say how impressed I was with the food and service. It is a nice small quaint atmosphere. Food is great hometown American. They have sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. Menu was diverse but not so large that you couldn’t decide what to get. The owner was out working on the floor the entire time we were there and I was impressed. Our server was amazing! Highly recommend.

It was such a treat to lunch with our friends at the Garden Gate Tea Room!
The food was fantastic, the service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere was exactly as you might expect. I would be remiss to not recommend the strawberry pretzel salad as well….. delicious! Fun for couples, a girls day or a solo lunch on your own. If Im not mistaken they have a room you can reserve for a birthday wedding or baby shower.

First time there. Nice little place. Not a big menu, mainly sandwiches and soups. I had the turkey bacon club sandwiche. My girl had the Chicken salad sandwiche. Both were good. Service was good. Waitress was very attentive and nice.

Fast kind experience. Dina was so pleasantly kind and beautiful. My husband and I really enjoyed oir time great for a first date. And the food, delicious! We ordered the cranberry turkey sandwich and the fiesta taco pie, and lobster soup. It was alll delicious

The atmosphere and staff are great! I felt like I was in a quaint garden for lunch. Above all else the food is so delicious. It’s fresh and so many flavor combinations I wouldn’t have thought of. Salads, sandwiches, soups and delightful desserts! Once you go to the garden gate you’ll keep going back! I know I have!

I love this place. The food was excellent – although our waitress seemed preoccupied and was not very quick with the refills – the prices were reasonable and the bread and herb butter they serve prior to your meal is excellent (although not nearly enough!) Try the Lobster Bisque or the French Onion Soup. Both were very good. Their sandwiches and wraps are also delicious – we were all pleasantly surprised by the good the food and the beautiful decor of this small and unassuming little tea room. Can’t wait to eat there again!

Just had potato soup that was so creamy. Yum! But the highlight of my day was their Pear white cheddar salad with walnut dressing!!! You must try this so good!!! The staff were so friendly and took very good care of us. I live in MIssouri and I can’t wait to come back to get this salad again and try more items on their menu.
