Our nugget history begins in the mid-1970s, when the original owner, Lou Iandoli and his business partner opened Garden Poultry in the heart of Greenwich, CT. In 1978, grabbing hold of an opportunity to grow and expand, Mr. Landoli opened under the name of Garden Catering on Sound Beach Avenue; which is now known as our flagship location. Sadly, Mr. Iandoli passed away in 1989 and Garden Catering closed its doors. Responding to the heartache of nugget fans everywhere, Frank Carpenteri Sr. purchased the business from Mrs. Iandoli, along with the secret recipes for Garden Catering’s famous fried chicken and nuggets. I used to love this place in high school. Came here today and one, they didn’t remind me that i get a free drink with my food so i forgot because its been so long. Two, the chicken in the special is squishy, wet feeling, and smells weird. I’ve had a stomach ache all night since i ate here. Not to mention the portions used to be twice

Still can’t forget the day my mother in law, my husband, and I went to make an order, and the woman at the register had an INSANELY mean attitude. We were actually quiet, standing beside the register (not even making small talk). There wasn’t anyone else in the establishment except us. Once the food was done, the woman *slammed* the food on the register. THEN, she banged her hand on the table multiple times, as if she was trying to get our attention, but we were already looking at her appalled. It was the most rudest interaction I’ve dealt with from any restaurant on the strip. When I said, “excuse me”. She responded snappily, “here, here” and just turned her back to us. Even the people cooking stood still! And she never apologized. As a poc herself, it shocks me she spoke to us like that. There’s no doubt in my mind she’d NEVER treat non-poc customers from Mamaroneck in such an ill manner, and that is absolutely not right.
Food here isn’t even good—! Fries are amateur, and the burgers are two pieces of DRY bread with something in the middle.

Ordered from here for the first time on Uber Eats since there was a buy one get one free deal on certain items. Got the Boss special. It comes with a lot of food especially only for two people. However I was extremely disappointed for two reasons first being the chicken nuggets meat in the inside were extremely dry that the sauces did not help even when drenched in it had to drink water over and the soda given. Fries came soggy as expected since it was Uber delivery but I did not think the chicken would be so dry. Secondly even though I selected seasoning and not seasoning on the side it seems like it still came on the side but there is no warning or indication of how salty these seasoning packets are or if only meant for fries it didn’t distribute as well on my fiancé food since the bag ripped when shaking so he had to just power through it. Overall I know now about the seasoning being really salty but I wished the nuggets were no as bone dry as they were in the inside. For what it’s worth even without the buy one get one deal it may be a while before trying again

The chicken is just incredible and if you would even question that I have one word for you. Seasoning. Their seasoning is so good and is a mistake to not have it.

Used to come here all the time in high school, since then they’ve really started being stingy on everything. When you pay $17 through Uber Eats (pick-up) you’d expect there to be some kind of portion that matches the price, right? Wrong. Feels like they give you whatever they’re feeling that day. Not to mention the terrible customer service, I ordered through the Uber Eats app for pick-up where they were doing one of their special deals, “Buy 1 Item get free item”. Ordered it and apparently there was the most out of the way section to add the free item that didn’t give me a single prompt? Went over there and no kind of compensation was offered whatsoever, went back to work hungry. Awesome stuff, really glad to see where it’s gone!

I’ve been eating here since they opened their Mamaroneck location in I wanna say 2005. I don’t think I’ll be going back after my experience today. My order was wrong, which isn’t the annoying part, but the price to portion ratio just isn’t worth it anymore. I ordered a big boy mix and there was definitely not a full 3/4lb of chicken and a total of 6 cones and 12 fries. If I spend $20 on a meal I shouldn’t still be hungry. You have lost a loyal customer of almost 20 years today.

Had takeout, sooo delicious!!! You definitely get your moneys worth. The nuggets are actual pieces of chicken breast, perfectly fried. Sandwiches were delicious.
