Enjoyed some delicious beef congee and pork/preserved egg congee along with the house waffle. The food was delicious.

The waffle is made with rice flour and was scrumptious. Pour a little condensed milk and maple syrup on it and munch away.

The beef was very tender and flavorful.

We were the only ones in there just after they opened at 810am on a Saturday. So if you want to avoid the crowd, come early.

Love this place. It is was crowded at dinner time. We try to find place for dinner and our friend recommended this. It was a good choice. It serves Hongkong style dishes and street food. The menu is massive for food and drink. We ordered stir fry on choy, baked black pepper porkchop over rice, hainamese chicken rice and seafood pand fry noodle. All are yummy. It is just it takes a while for our order to arrive. One dishes which suppose to be the simplest and quick to prepare cakes the last. Will visit again and try other dishes. Price is reasonable. One negative side is the noise. People sit Two table close to us talked so loud. It is just some customer don’t have manner and seems the place doesn’t have enough sound suppression.

Wow! So glad there’s a late night cafe vibe place here in Castro Valley. I really enjoyed the quality of their food. I got wonton soup and clams and mochi pancake. I’m a huge fan of the free tea, it makes it so cozy I wasn’t feeling well, and this place healed up my soul and health. Staff were kind and attentive too. Highly recommend!

Went for dinner here with party of 9 after a school event, around 9:30 pm. There were three other large parties there in addition to us so it did appear under staffed. It took a while to get all our orders out, as expected. We found it amazing that they ran out of extra bowls/plates and left to-go containers for us to use instead. This wasn’t the first time eating here but it was apparent they struggle with large crowds. Food was on point and most dishes ordered were large enough to share.

We had our lunch today from this Chinese restaurant. Food is delicious, we really enjoyed the food. When you order the food ask them how large is the portion is. Because we order too much food, they never explain it to us when we ordering food. Place is clean, hospitality is really good. Thank you

Decent Hong Kong style fare restaurant. Not a date night spot, but a decent hang out spot with friends. Food was good, but nothing spectacular. Prices were decent. Menu is way too big, but that’s standard for these kind of joints. Parking lot is small but the interior is large and can seat big groups. Carpool if possible. I got my two favorite dishes: salt and pepper pork chops and fish in corn sauce. I got it as a combo with the Hong Kong milk tea. Tea is not that sweet which is to my liking. Pork chops were quite good, but lacked a punch and those juicy fatty bites that you often get in a really good one. Fish was great and the sauce was quite good, but I should get the sauce separate next time. I don’t know how some places maintain a good crunch with a lot of sauce. This place does get soggy quick. Overall, would come again!

It was refreshing and surprising to find an authentic Cantonese cuisine restaurant in Castro Valley (close to the beautiful Lake Chabot) that opens till midnight.

The staff was friendly and polite. The food was more than satisfactory for the Cantonese palate. Portions were generous. The serving dishes were uniquely chosen for an atypical yet tasteful Chinese restaurant style.

Will definitely return for patronage. Thank you for being there – your menu hit the spot.

Came by to enjoy some late night supper. I’m talking about 11pm ish late.
Food was spectacular. Ordered beef fried rice but beef was super tender and juicy. They definitely put extra eggs in these. Also gotta mention that they put the white portion of the green scallions which make it slightly tastier than other fried rice.
Big portion, I ordered dessert so imma save some room for dessert. Take a picture before i put the rest in the togo box.
Music was nice 😉 definably enjoyed my time here!
