Reviews
We walked in the garden after eating and met the owner who was very nice. Also want to mention it’s worth waiting a little bit even if there is a line!
Our server was very personable, but seemed overwhelmed despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Service overall was disorganized: food was often delivered to the wrong tables, and at one point the bartender was running food and stopped at three different tables before finally finding the right one.
Overall, a beautiful setting, but the food, service, and execution left a lot to be desired.
I’ve been to this place now about 5 or 6 times, and I need to eat here at least once a month. My mental health support literally comes in the form of their buttermilk pancakes with the in-house syrup and parmesan breakfast potatoes.
Also, a really special shoutout to the service staff ✨ — how willing they are to work with you for all types of modifications. Instead of just saying no, we don’t do that, they genuinely make attempts to try and satisfy your needs in the best way possible, and that’s just that added touch of Southern hospitality that a lot of other businesses are missing out on.
