I’ve spend two days in Manhattan and ate here for breakfast and lunch. Great all American atmosphere, friendly waitresses and authentic food. Perfect place to stop for lunch or breakfast on your way into Bozeman and to chatter with the local farmers.

It’s an old school diner without any frills but high on comfort food. Simple and tasty is what you will find. They have different burger specials and they are huge. Breakfast is what I got and I can recommend it. Fluffy eggs with crispy hash browns. The bacon is crispy but still had the fatty bits. The sausage link is porky and has a nice snap to it. Locals flock to it and it seems like a frequent watering hole.

We came here on one of this restaurant’s final days. For 23 years, they’ve fed customers hearty, fresh meals and we were fortunate to find this gem on our final trip out of Belgrade. This restaurant had all the great hallmarks of a rural, family-run diner: incredibly friendly, delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices.

We stopped through here on our way to Helena (from Bozeman) and wanted something different than a chain. We were very presently surprised with the food, most of got burgers (fresh, ground in house), but we also had a turkey sandwich and chicken fried steak. There was nothing wrong with any of the food, it was all cooked perfectly, and the waitress was super nice. Thank you Garden Cafe for hosting our group with such great hospitality!

I have breakfast here at least once a week. The waitstaff treats me like family. Great breakfast and always have unique and wonderful soups for lunch!!

Terrible service. My family and I walked out after our server rudely walked away from us as we were clarifying a strawberry milk choice out of a three year old.. I understand servers are busy but that’s no way to treat people who are trying to spend money in your establishment.
