OMG, what delicious food, you can order several dishes, and I swear you won’t want to stop eating, everything is exquisite, unfortunately they no longer have a buffet but the à la carte dishes are magnificent, their food is also super cheap, it’s worth it go visit them!!!

This restaurant may have good reviews but the first time I went here in March 2019, was it just one of their bad days or it’s common occurrence for them to be di poorly in replenishing their buffet area? Right in the middle of lunch time, and with only less than half of the place full, they ran out of almost all their buffet dishes and took so long to replenish. Just take a look at this picture while I was waiting for more food to come!

This place is a hidden gem for sure! We live nearby and my family has been eating here for years. The food is made fresh, hot and delicious. The Thai iced tea is so yummy! I also love the fried rice, chicken pad Thai and crab rangoons (especially the homemade sauce to go with them).

Nice ma and pa shop where the owner is super nice. We did get the green curry chicken, chicken rice soup and spicy basil fried rice. The curry and soup weren’t good but reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because of the fried rice! Oh my goodness it is one of the best tasting fried rices due to using Thai chili that make it taste authentic. Price is reasonable but will be coming back for spicy basil fried rice alone. No brainer!

Locally owned and operated since 1986 by a very nice lady in a small strip mall in Northlake, IL. All food made from scratch with some great flavor. Ordered the pad thai and fried chicken. While the pad thai was average, the fried chicken was the BOMB! Not sure how to describe it but the crunchy texture along with the sweet glaze sauce is something that I will always remember. It’s been the same recipe for the past 10+ years (that I’ve patronized this establishment) it’s something I recommend you order when going here. My wife who usually doesn’t eat the ends of the chicken (cartilage) eats this portion as well. I would change/update my rating to 5 stars if they step up the pad thai going forward. If you’re looking to support local business, this is a restaurant I recommend. FYI, the signage of this place is not very easily recognizable so keep your eyes peeled when trying to find this place. Hidden gem for sure.

Panang curry was decent. However, the crab rangoon had only a tiny bit of cream and filling, was otherwise burnt and just crusty. The coconut soup was horrible. The spring rolls were not cooked at all. It was just dough. The pad thai had no flavor. I’ve had thai food at many places and this was by far the worst thai food of my life.
Ordered the food for delivery with doordash. I called the thai place after to mention that several of the dishes were truly unacceptable and the woman who answered said that’s not possible because everyone likes their food. I must be lying. Why would I say this? Have I not had thai food before? She made zero apology or effort to make it right. I’d go someplace else if I were you
