Fantastic food!! Highly recommended to stop here before heading into the desert or up north. Generous portions and fair prices. High quality ingredients and staff is friendly.

I travel a lot from Los Angeles to Arizona and it’s really hard to find authentic Mexican food once I get out of Los Angeles. I’m so glad I found this place the food is so good the service was wonderful very friendly very welcoming I ordered a carne asada plate and couldn’t decide whether or not I wanted to try the enchilada green chicken enchilada so they gave me one on the house. I will definitely be back on my trips. Would definitely recommend.

A great place to enjoy (probably not only) a Sunday evening. We’ve been in the area of Blythe for a while and were looking for a snack and a night drink before going back to our getaway from home. A place with great friendly service, yummy food and joyful drinks. We ended up having dinner and cocktails. What a nice experience. We’ll not only recommend this place to others, we will definitely be back.

Amapola used to be the place to go in Blythe. They are gone and Garcia’s is the new king of the mountain. They do a very authentic crispy taco. Those are getting hard to find. Be ready for a long wait if you come at the busy times.

We were greeted immediately and had minimal wait for our food. I ordered a cheese enchilada. Looked good but I did not care for the sauce. My husband had tacos with beans and rice. I liked the beans and rice. Hefty servings. The chips were yummy and their salsa is spicy!

We had a quick dinner on our drive from Phoenix. The Mexican food served in a retro-style diner exceeded expectations. They gave us complimentary chips and salsa. The red salsa was delicious and spicy. We ordered burritos (one chicken, one carnitas), smothered in green chili sauce. Recommended. And the service was exceptional – fast, friendly, and attentive (without being pushy). I get the feeling this place is an institution in the area.

Great family restaurant that moved to larger quarters, now occupied a restaurant more suited to their business volume. Being that there are not a lot of restaurants in Blythe, this one can get pretty crowded, best suited for smaller parties they do have a couple of larger tables. Went on a Saturday night and had a out a 30 minute wait for party of 6. Food does take a little while to come but it is always excellent. Chimicungas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, anything Mexican you crave.
Staff is always very friendly. Prices are reasonable, food is always hot and fresh.

Let’s be honest but Arizona Blythe doesn’t have any traditional Mexican food. If you add yellow cheese is not Mexican. I order the chile rellenos the eggs was old, grease, the shredded taco tasted like carnitas was over fried. The carne Asada was horrible burned , not fresh and meat was fatty. Look at the pictures. And one taco $ 5.50 ridiculous. The Chile Colorado was full of fat. The server was nice she gave a good service. I one thing it really gross me out was the faucets from the restroom so filthy

Decided to take a break driving back from Arizona, pulled over in Blythe. This was a great restaurant with really good Mexican food! They do have a bar counter top if you dont want to wait for a table.

They need a manager. At the line. Communicating to Staff and delegating. And if you have clover you had have customers sign in on that to monitor better. We were sat. Then re Sat. The food is amazing. The servers just were too…..they were trying to be everywhere and that essentially meant they were no where. Then we were going to get another drink and she just the bill down and said goodbye. We were still eating. And I wanted a box. So I waited 5 mins to get a box and left a 3/4 of my food there because couldn’t get her attention at all. They could just use a front end manager to call out food on the line and have a runner and a host. Easy day.

Could use a remodel. The old Dennys vibe is strong.
