Welcome to the land of mediocre food! Food was absolutely a 3/5: not good, not bad. Asked waitress if she had recommendations, response was no. Same question/response with beverage. Ordered the enchiladas combo, chicken, cheese, beef. Waitress asked if green or red sauce was wanted, asked which was hot and recommended both. Did not mention this was an upcharge (smothered $3.79). Coworker ordered same, ask for sauce on the side, receiving 1/2 cup of green sauce in a bowl and 1 tblsp of red in a saucer ($5.79 ea ). He was evicted/banished when he complained at the subversive pricing (lol).
The enchiladas were not bad. Oddly, they are double wrapped to make them appear longer/fatter. I wonder if they had the proper amount of filling and shell if they wouldn’t rate a 4 or 5/5.
Beans were oversalted and good. Dinner guest thought they’d sat on the counter for days, but I liked them.
Beer came in a bottle and was cold, ice water came with a straw, no complaints.

Bruh I got a combo and when I say sheeeeshhh I can it. They got all the order right, the dude up front was very polite and easy to tall to. They already had our order ready to go. The food is absolutely amazing a d the portions are good to. I love restaurants like this. Only thing is the hot sauce is pretty spicy lol im a white boy so im not use to heat but its not overwhelming. Definitely 5 stars to me!

Pretty expensive for the food you get. The carne asada’s flavor was super good but it’s only 2 tacos in the dinner and they add lettuce cheese and tomato which I’ve never had on carne asada tacos before. The flour tortillas taste like they’re store bought which was super disappointing.

My hubby and I are in town for the evening for work. We couldn’t move with the wind generator tower base we are escorting because of highway restrictions. We ordered through door dash. After placing our order I received a call asking if I was ok with ground beef for my enchilada plate because they were out of shredded beef. I was a bit disappointed but not a big deal. When we received our food I was a little confused because there is literally no sauce on my enchiladas. It’s just ground beef in a tortilla topped with melted cheese lettuce and tomatoes. I can’t say that I have ever had an enchilada like this from any Mexican restaurant not even in Mexico. Not sure if this is what they call an enchilada or if this was a mistake. It’s not horrible I ate it just a bit disappointed because not only were they out of shredded beef but there is no sauce it’s just dry and pretty bland. The chips and 4 dips were good so that was a plus. I can’t say I will eat here again after this which sucks because we will be coming through here every few days while we are on this project.

Traditionally, Mexican restaurants use corn tortillas for tacos and tostadas. This restaurant uses flour tortillas. Being a Celiac, I wish there would have been some indication that all items on the menu were made using flour tortillas. When we asked for just some corn chips to use to eat the taco and tortilla fillings/toppings, we had to wait 15 minutes for the staff to make “deep fried” corn “chips”. What Mexican restaurant doesn’t have corn tortillas chips on hand. In addition, they charged us an extra $6.99 for the side of oily corn chips – which had no taste and were very greasy. We were very disappointed in this establishment. I know it’s a struggle to run a restaurant in a small town, but the owners need to make some effort if they want to attract travelling tourists. I wish them luck.

We stopped here in a whim and were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, meat was seasoned perfectly, fresh ingredients, the fluffy tortilla chips and flavorful salsa was great! I had a spicy margarita I am going to be craving for weeks. The waitress seemed to be handling all the tables alone and she was killing it.

This is the best Mexican meal I’ve had in years! Comfortable place with great service and amazing food. We shared the fajitas and they were out of this world! I live 80 minutes away and I’ll still make this a regular dinner stop!!

Just had dinner there. We have spent a lot of time in this town for work ( Railroad) and this is the first time I’ve eaten there. Very very happy with this place. Food was delicious , prices are great, very clean restaurant, very nice inside, and the staff were really nice. Nice family restaurant. I plan on going there when I eat out from now on.

They were about to close because of the Holiday. But the manager asks us to come in anyway. The waitress said, right up front we are all out of shredded beef. OK’ chicken enchiladas for me all our orders were in. Waitress brought our drinks. We waited not more than 15 or 20 minutes and presto, the plates were full of great food it was yummy hit that special spot on a empty stomach. Our neighbor’s were there as well and he even paid for the meal.
