Stopped in for Bloody Marys and did not eat this time but the drinks alone are worth the visit. The Bloody Mary was loaded, bold, and absolutely over the top in the best way. Tons of flavor, great presentation, and clearly something they take pride in.
Lively, fun atmosphere and a solid spot to grab drinks. Looking forward to coming back to try the food next time.

Nice restaurant. My salad was delicious, as was the fried chicken I added to it. Our food did take quite some time to come out, which seemed odd given that it didn’t seem that busy at the time we were there.
Don’t want to knock the score down though, as overall I enjoyed my experience here. Looking forward to trying dinner here whenever I’m back in the area!

I found this gem of a restaurant only because I visited Northville one day to check out another location of Cannelle bakery, which has the most amazing pastries by the way. As I was driving out of town I saw an old gas station and saw it had actually been converted into a modern restaurant. I love when a creator of something like this takes the old and brings it to the new so I came back up for a meal to the Garage Grill. It’s about an hour and ten minute drive for me to come here but was absolutely more than worth it. I decided to sit at the bar only because I was dining alone and it was crowded. I had the pleasure there of meeting Eric who was an amazing host. My meal was delicious and arguably one of the best I’ve had in the entire Toledo to Detroit to Ann Arbor area where I typically spend most of my time in. I ordered the garlic feta dip to start, the pecan crusted whitefish for the main meal, and took the chocolate bumper cake for dessert home. This was by far a five star experience for a dinner with atmosphere, presentation, quality and taste. I’d most certainly come back. Thanks to the owners for making nostalgia be so cool!

Great place for brunch! Can’t go wrong with a choice on the menu either. Wild mushroom pizza had a great flavor. Family friendly and fun to draw on the tables
Mimosas and bloody Mary’s are a great choice to pair with your meal.
Great service all around, open atmosphere and walking distance from downtown Northville!

Mediocre food. Nice place otherwise, and packed to the brim on a Saturday night. Wait staff was great. Overall not worth the $65 spent for the following. Does not compare to Ford’s Garage.
Kid’s Buttered Noodles – $9
Spaghetti soaked in butter/oil. No seasoning or cheese or flavor. Real price $2
FLEX FUEL BOWL – $17 + $12 shrimp
Almost no skilled prep. Raw shallots, canned beans, and some mushrooms and arugula layered over a thin bed of quinoa, and dry overall (no dressing). They don’t know how to make a good bowl, so it’s unclear why they offer it, or if anyone has actually tried it. Real price $8 with shrimp.
FISH & CHIPS – $23
Decent prep and flavors. However, fish was set on top of fries; fish batter and some fries were soggy. Again, average. Real price $15

Is there a such thing as American food? I don’t know. I’d call it plain and as basic two patties of ground beef covered with bread.
So, you’re not talking about cooking with fifty ingredients and that’s just fine. I mean let’s face it, American food has stood the test of time thanks to the taste of people who might not want to eat coriander’s spiced salmon with truffle oil and saffron grits.
The garage is unabashedly American and they do a great job. A tiny bit of fusion is more than enough.
It’s a spotless atmosphere and the service is always good.
Brunch is my favorite and those bloody Mary’s are a work of art.

This place is a renovated garage (turned restaurant) which has maintained a fantastic ambiance of its original purpose. The food was absolutely FANTASTIC! We enjoyed the beef tips appetizer along with the mushroom pasta…wow! Our friends were raving about the beet salad while others bragged all night about their fish meal. While it is a bit pricey, I highly recommend this place!

From front of house to server, our experience was lovely. The evening was busy, but we only waited a few minutes to sit outside. The outside heaters provided comfort from the wind this evening. The presentation of our dishes were spot on. Each dish was pleasing, balanced, and provided great flavors. First time visiting, but it will not be our last.

Fantastic meal at the Garage last night with amazing service. Their cocktails are top notch and strong but smooth, both Old Fashioned’s and highly recommended. We also had the fries and the White Pizza, both were amazing. We finished the meal with the ice cream sundae and it did not disappoint. The fact they have ample patio seating made this a perfect evening.
