I liked this place. We had a great time. There is alot to look at here. I had the ribs, they were good but alot of cartilage. My wife had the salmon and she really liked it. Our table also had a steak sandwich, totchoes, nachos, a laguna Seca burger that ask received high praise. We will come back to try other items.

Wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the food was not worth what we paid. Not bad but not $25-30 per. The fish and chips were okay, but had a cod texture not a halibut one. Real fresh halibut is more like a swordfish not as flaky as cod. The atmosphere was cool and very interesting, but not worth the price for the food. If I had paid 12-15 it would be worth it. The bbq sandwich had to much sauce and was cooked that way it seemed. Pulled pork is much better dry with a rub than add your own sauce at the table. Salmon was good the grilled cheese was a little over done and the cheese was not fully melted inside. To high of heat does that. Great waiter! Fish made me sick 2 hours later. Not super bad but not great. Friendly staff!

Our server Aaron rocked! Very attentive. Recommended the Bump Draft roll.. hands down, best sushi I’ve ever had!! The Limo & Firebird rolls are also really good! Caesar salad and edamame did not disappoint either. This place is great & the decor is cool & unique. Anyone leaving less than 5 stars.. just wants to complain. After the great experience we had, I can’t believe anything less than five stars. I only wish we had a Garage in Boston! If we are ever back in Utah, We will be coming back. Easy, causal atmosphere. Great staff. Clean.

A lot of people have no idea, but the sushi here was added by a legitimate sushi chef who set it up so that everything is made from scratch, traditional techniques to make the rice and vinegar and sauces. FRESH fish is brought in 2 times per week and sliced up whole in store. Some of the best sushi in Utah rn, and I’m a sushi chef from hawaii, so im a tough critic. Their tuna melts in your mouth

It is tough to earn 5 stars at times. And one burger does not speak to the huge variety of menu items available at Garage Grill. I like to eat here for group lunches because there has got to be something for everyone with all the choices available. It’s a grill. A few people at the table said they were told by others not to order the sushi here. So out of 10 people, no one ordered sushi. I ordered the spicy Hot Lap burger and it was delicious. We had salads, veggie wraps, wings, sandwiches, and more. So for variety, this is the place.

Took my son here for his 16th birthday. It’s an awesome place with cool sports cars and racing memorabilia all over. Super cool atmosphere but the food was just OK. The BBQ sauce on our wings was good but not my favorite, and the chicken meat was too tough. I also had the dirt track burger and it was good, but needed more gravy on it. My son got the Mustang burger and loved it. My wife got the pork tacos and liked them but said they were lacking flavor. Very cool place that I will try again and order a different food item in hopes it is better.

My wife and I went in i saw this place through Instagram on a slcfoodie thing. I love cars so it was right up my alley. It’s an awesome vibe cool cars the whole thing even to the napkins as shop rags. The waiter we had was super nice and helpful. Food was great and the smoked wings had some subtle flavors that great just the right taste of something smoked. We ordered the chop shop burger with a fried egg and avocado and my wife got the formula one grilled cheese that had brisket on it!

I think I just had too high of an expectation of this place. The atmosphere and service were great, there’s no problem here. The food was ok not the best, it was a bit expensive and tasted like typical food you could get elsewhere. Came to see the interior design of the place, probably won’t return again for the food. Sorry.

Listen. You got this far. Just go. The burgers are supreme. This is one of my top three burger places west of the Mississippi. Anything with brisket or sushi won’t disappoint. The sushi nachos are amazing. The ambient is great. Feels like a garage as stated in the name. Party of six or less this is your place!! Place is clean and appears to be well managed. Tater tot’s! You really owe it to yourself to try this place. Burgers! Did I mention the burgers?!?! They are almost too tall to eat without utensils. Almost. Napkin? Nope. Just a red shop towel. Nice.

Our server was nice, clean and professional. I ordered the 4×4 (pulled pork) sandwich. Besides the pickle, it had really no flavor and the bun was soggy. The atmosphere was good. It’s as you might expect with the name.
