Quite the experience. It lives up to the hype! For lunch on Friday, arrive well before 11:30. If there’s a line at 11:30, get in it and you’ll probably still get in on the first seating. More seating across the 2 levels than you’d expect from the storefront. You’ll spend more time deliberating the menu, because there’s SO MANY great choices. Try a signature cocktail or non-alcoholic drink. Both times we’ve been here we’ve left with leftovers. Our new favorite (non-cheap) Vietnamese restaurant!

In town for a couple days from New Mexico and this was one spot we had to try. Did not disappoint at ALL!!!!!! The Phozilla was worth every single penny, lobster was absolutely perfect the broth was so rich and hit every note just right. The rib was just sticky fall off the bone mastery but still had a nice bite so you got all of the flavors and spices on the crust, with parts that just melted in your mouth. Chef sent over bone marrow shots for my wife’s birthday…. These things were massive and the boba size straws basically allowed me to main line the elegant, super rich, nutty nector. If you’re in the Bay Area I’d 100% recommend a visit. I think we’re going to swing by again before we leave to try the mamas clay pot. Ashley and the staff were amazing and made the end of our first day in San Fran perfect.

This isn’t your run of the mill Vietnamese joint. It’s decorated like a hole in the wall in Vietnam, but the chef puts an elevated spin on Vietnamese favorites. I really enjoyed their pho and starters. It’s even good when taking it to go. The service is very efficient and friendly. They kind of have to be to make sure the line outside goes down fast enough. We arrived 10 mins before opening and still had to wait 20 mins to be seated. Ultimately it’s worth the wait and you have to eat here at least once!

I don’t understand why this restaurant doesn’t have over 4.5 stars. Bun Cha is my favourite, but I would love to try everything on the menu. Food is exceptional, service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great! Such a fun hipster place! I have tried so many Vietnamese food in different countries including Vietnam and this place is the best!

Definitely a hype. We like others were drawn here because of Instagram.

Crazy portions and very seafood forward which is awesome. Definitely super overpriced for what you’re getting (in Vietnam I would pay so much less for similar dishes) but I think it’s worth it for a night eating out. The dishes were on the sweeter side, I personally prefer savory. The seafood was cooked well but not seasoned and some like the lobster was a tad overdone. The garlic noodles were sweet and not super garlicky. The banh cuon was delicious just like I remembered with fresh herbs and veggies along with the fish sauce lime dip. Lines are insanely long so be prepared to walk around and hang until you’re called. Great service and staff!

A little pricey but the food tastes delicious. They mess up on my order so they had to take it back…The place is a small two-story restaurant. It’s cute but super stuffy & crowded. My family sat by the employee door where you can hear every conversation. The passion fruit drink I order was good, but the amount was little.

The restaurant tends to get busy so I suggest booking ahead. The atmosphere is cute. They repurposed old blinds as a trendy decor. The food was outstanding. Even something as simple as chicken noodle pho was flavorful! My friend got the filet mignon, also delicious! The menu has a lot of tasty options with a wide range of price points.

I only can review seafood items because I don’t eat meat. I sat at the bar next to another kitchen staff (who’s having lunch lol). She ordered food for me and they were bomb! The snail appetizer were huge and sweet. My soft shell crab pho was so homie. The crab was juicy from the soup and a little bit of egg inside. It’s a dream. Note is I don’t really like the shrimp. I think they’re overcooked for my standard.

Amazing viet food for a great price. Everything is priced generously for the amount of food provided. Ordered the chef’s choice platter of rolls to share and it was incredible – there was a good mix of veggie and protein rolls. The 5 spice belly vermicelli bowls was so filling and delicious. Highlights were the grilled shrimp and the pork belly.
