One of the best stops on our roadtrip!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend. Marking this to come back one day. Amazing food, Coolest atmosphere, some of the nicest folks working here. The town is adorable. We walked around after we ate and did a little shopping. If you’re like us and like to support local businesses, stop by the Gannett Grill for food and drinks and 23 squared for some shopping (all local artists made gifts). Such a great town!!!!

If you’re in Lander you have to stop by! Grab a drink at lander bar, order some food, and enjoy the atmosphere of the outdoor seating on Coalter Block. We had a local beer, the Philly, a house salad, chicken toes, and a cow pie burger. The Philly was DELICIOUS and I loved how they finely chopped the bell peppers/onions/banana peppers. The side salad was a great portion and easily shareable. The outdoor family style seating is warm, inviting, & family friendly. We loved our visit!

Fantastic place for lunch on our roadtrip from Colorado to Yellowstone. Appreciated the recommendations from the young man who rang us up. The turbovich-wich had the best warm pita bread and freshly grilled chicken, and the Hold Your Horses was perfect for my hungry husband. Would stop here again!

I’m impressed. One of the best black and blue burgers I have had. The beef tastes like real beef. It was cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick and crisp. Wow! I upgraded to onion rings and it was well worth it.
The place is rustic and decorated with local history. So cool.

The service is always attentive and courteous. Although, I’ve never felt compelled to eat in the restaurant, lots of folks do. This last time around, sadly. Things were off. My burger was undercooked (which is tolerable because I will eat medium rare burgers), but there were chunks that were raw. The kids in back were bumping music really loud, so maybe this was just a result of being distracted. If this is indicative of food quality going forward, I will not be going back.

Whenever anyone comes to visit Lander or even Fremont County, I always recommend Gannett Grill. I’ve been eating here for the past 12 years and I’ve never been disappointed. In my opinion, they serve the best burgers in Fremont County and maybe in the state of Wyoming. Their pizza and salads are also delicious. We love the outdoor seating and the fun atmosphere. The service is always positive and friendly. You can’t go wrong eating here.

Today, I made my order online, so I did not have any problems with the service, or atmosphere. However, I CAN rate the food. I paid $12.99 for six (6) pellets, which resembled “boneless wings.” Each pellet was $2.165/ea. What. A. RIPOFF. This was not the value I expected from Gannett Grill. I would appreciate a refund, but I already ate them. I need to end this review before I swear. Bad GG; bad, bad, bad.
