Fabulous Indian restaurant I found in Bamberg. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Nice Indian music playing in the background. Very friendly and smiling staff which is always lovely. The food was fantastic and delicious. I tried the Dahl Soup, Onion Bahjis, Veggie Naan and Chai Tea. All were wonderful. Check out this place, its doing everything perfectly. Cheers! ❤️

We went with bit high expectations reading the Reviews but it wasn’t the best food I had in Germany. The naan was good but the Sabji wo average. Masala was less in sabji making it taste more like tomatoe sabji with Paneer it.
But conveyed the same to Staff and they said they will make it better when we visit next time. The staff was nice and friendly.

Really delicious dishes and professional servers. They’re all kind and warm as one would expect Indian restaurant to be.
You’ll find some dishes are spicy hot while others are not. I ordered lamb and rice. My wife ate chicken.
One can choose to sit inside or outside. Within the restaurant the sitting arrangements are nice and well lit. The space outside is attached and looks good too.
You won’t find free WiFi here but I think having one should be good. The cost of food are moderate and service times or wait times are very fair.
There’s a bathroom and the environment or the neighborhood is about 19 minutes on foot away from city center of Bamberg where one finds historical sites or walk by the water.
I’ll recommend this place based on my experience and interaction, considering the options to do lot more in the surrounding.

Had two veggie dishes and they were absolutely amazing. Papadoms, rice, naan and after dinner schnaps were complementary. Portions were very generous. 30Eur for a dinner for 2 was incredible value.

It’s not easy to find good Indian food in Germany. We ordered for pick up right after they opened up. It was easy to order and very quick. It was a very warm welcome when we arrived. Very friendly staff!
The food was just as we hoped, traditional good flavour, very tasty and fresh.
Now we finally managed to eat at the restaurant and it’s a great atmosphere, beautifully decorated and a brilliant service.
And their mango lassi is an absolute highlight ❤️!

Possibly the best of the Bamberg Curry Houses, and yes, I have tried them all. Lamm Madras had decent spice. Lamm Palak served in the European creamy style. Mango Chicken from the Mittagsmenu pleased the lady.

This was our first time at Ganesha and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered chicken pakora, paneer pakora, veggie samosas, chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken. It was a very fun and delicious dinner! And we got some complimentary mango schnapps when paying. Yum!
