Cravings satisfied! We ordered the samosa chaat, paneer makhni and garlic naan. We got complimentary rice which was a nice surprise, and complimentary gulab jamun for writing this review!
Food and service was 10/10. The samosa was crispy, the paneer dish was punchy and creamy, and the naan was thin and flavourful. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Went for lunch on a Wednesday around 1pm, very quiet and pleasant, not many customers. Convenient location if you are exploring the museums. Great service. Delicious food that came quick. Definitely get an iced lemonade.

After wait and complications good food.
One of the worst experiences of Indian cuisine in Vienna. We orderd nothing special directly from the menu (check menu on site as they did change it in last year – no more Briani). They forgot to bring all the drinks so we had to remember them to bring all the drinks. For the food we had to wait 1 HOUR. When the food was brought the staff was putting the tray on the table and while handing out the food put their hands in to the food itself and just putting it on the table randomly so we had to hand it out ourselves. Halve of the food was cold. They took it back (checked the cold food with hands) and reheat it (we saw it where the same peaces of food they took there). Nan was thinn and stale with bare minimum of garlic on it. We got no compensation and no acknowledgement of the issues. For the price and standing for my taughts not acceptable.

Great experience overall. The food was flavorful and well prepared, with a nice variety of options on the menu. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out in a timely manner. We also tried the ice cream at the end, which was a pleasant surprise and a perfect way to finish the meal. Would definitely come back and recommend this place.

Really good ambience and it was great that it was walkable from the team. Good was good. The Shaam savera kofta was dry while the palak paneer was yummy. The avocado papdi Chaat was refreshing. Recommended for good comfort Indian food.

Had a fantastic dinner at Ganesha Restaurant Wien. The flavors were outstanding—especially the chicken curry and the pistachio curry, both were absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. Great portion sizes, warm and attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere that made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re craving a solid curry spot in Vienna!

The menu was varied and large, with great gluten free, vegan and vegetarian alternatives, as well as many dishes i have never before seen at an Indian Restaurant. The food itself was so delicious that i could not put my fork down. If you like Indian food and happen to be in Vienna, this is the restaurant you simply have to visit.

Our experience at Ganesha for lunch was disappointing. The food is apparently overpriced for its tiny portion and quality. We could barely get 5 pieces of chicken cubes in the butter chicken and masala chicken dishes we ordered. The tandoori chicken didn’t taste good too. Atmosphere was noisy as they tried to put all customers in one small section. Will be our first and last. Period.

The authentic indian restaurant with good quality foods. The waiting time is shorter than expected and the service is good(during lunch time). I’d definitely recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala. We also had the Butter Chicken, which is also well-served. The masala tea might need some improvements(for us, its taste is lighter than we had in another place).
