Ordered via the Toast App and sandwiches were done on time. Ladies working behind the counter were very friendly which is wonderful for just a to-go order. I got the Bridge Hampton, modified to sourdough bread instead of a roll, and Wall Street Club sandwiches with a side of 2 pickles. The pickle is big and cut into 4 spears, and is $2 each. Good sandwiches but not great.

Best Pastrami I’ve had in years! Ordered takeout, a Rockefeller Ruben and NY Liberty. Ruben was loaded with the perfect amount of meat delicious! Liberty bread was very soft and pillowy. Seating in the covered patio and atmosphere in the area is unique. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

I would honestly say the food was lackluster. It was just alright! There is nothing special about it. Especially with it being 20 dollars for a sandwich, side, and drink i expected more.
The bread was dry, but the meat was good.
It wasn’t gross. It wasn’t spectacular

Cashier was nice but was untruthful or untrained. We were told the combo was 3.99 more. However, when we received the receipt we were charged an extra dollar for each mac and cheese. When asked all we were told was sorry. Instead of saving money we spent more. Tables were a little dirty as well and the place was not busy. Sandwiches are always good but please clean the tables. Last time I tip before the service is complete.

What the heck!? I got all the way home and opened my sandwich to find that my sandwich is mainly bread with a couple slices of meat. I have ordered this sandwich before and had a more generous portion of meat. What a waste of money since I can get more at Port of Subs or even Subway. Very disappointing.

Quiet & cute little spot. Staff was super friendly. Both sandwiches we had were delicious! Same with the cookie.

Loved it the moment I walked in. The New York decor was so creative and everything was clean. I got the Big Apple which was delicious! It was a big sandwich so I didn’t think I’d finish it but I kept wanting more even after I was full. I can’t wait to try some of their other specialty sandwiches. I also didn’t realize they had other options outside of sandwiches so that was a nice surprise. They also have gluten free which was another nice surprise as my daughter is sensitive. Great, friendly staff. Quick and professional.

Overall, pretty good, but nothing to quite rave about.
Fiancé and I got a couple sandwiches (a 6” and a 12”) with a side pickle and a side of mac. About $36. Sandwiches were pretty good, but nothing to quite rave about for the price. Pickle was good, cold and crispy! Mac was the biggest disappointment. Flavor wasn’t bad but noodles were very overcooked and more like a mush.

1st time trying Gandalfos in Caldwell. I had ordered online. I ordered 2 sandwiches and coleslaw. When I got home I had a note that said the don’t sell Coleslaw at that location and they gave me a container of lettuce, container of I think ranch dressing and a container of pepper. All they had to do was let me know when I got there they don’t carry coleslaw and refund my money or offer me another option. That would have been acceptable. They didn’t say anything to me when I picked up the order. Instead I paid $3.49 for ingredients that do not make coleslaw. Our sandwiches were also labeled wrong as well. I was so excited to try them but I will not be going back.

This is Gandolfo’s version of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich… It was the worst sandwich I have ever had.
Disappointment doesn’t even begin to describe my experience with Gandolfo’s New York Deli’s version of a Philly cheesesteak. Having dreamt of a hot, juicy, savory classic, I was met with a cold sandwich that would make Rocky Balboa weep.
Sadly, It fell so far short of a true Philly cheesesteak that it should be renamed the “Philly Phlop.”
I did ask the staff if the sandwich was made correctly and they confirmed that it was their version of a Philly cheesesteak. However, I do want to add everyone there was very kind but offered no solutions.
The sandwich ended up in the trash.
