I used to really enjoy the food from here but they’ve recently made a big change to their Naans.
£4.50 used to get you a Naan just the same as you’d get at any other Indian takeaway. What you get now is frankly embarrassing – a wafer thin disc about 1/2 – 2/3rds the size of the standard Naan.
Guys, come on… what you are offering is now bordering on being a scam.

Last night 14/12/22 My husband, my best friend and I decided we would order in an Indian. This is close by to my house, so decided we would try this one. our order was due to arrive at 19:10, it did not arrive until much later than this at 19:55, when the food arrived, everything was cold except from the curry. I wanted to call and return everything but by this time it was getting late. I think delivering cold food almost an hour late, without explanation, is diabolical, especially when it was a £70 order. The only reason I have given more than one star, is because my husband’s curry was hot and had really good flavour. I wouldn’t go again.

I have been having a curry 3-4 times a month for the last two years, we get the odd not so good one, but mostly lovely quality food.
Sadly, my last two orders have arrived stone cold, over 3/4 hour late and the quality has deteriorated.
Not sure if this is the fault of Uber eats drivers or the restaurant themselves.

Ease of ordering via website. Opted for Gandhi as our usual Indian wasn’t answering their phone this evening. Slight delay, but transparent about it via the web-order system and the food arrived earlier than stated on site.
Food was hot on arrival. Ordered a starter, main, rice and nann for 2 to share. Regretfully the Patia curry was spicier than anticipated, stated as being ‘fairly hot.’ My partner now fears tommorrow morning and myself as a spice queen felt it was a bit much. Shall have to try other curries from Gandhi to get a good scope of heat and flavour. Despite the spice mistake, everything was well portioned, of a decent quality to warrant the price and to satiate the Indian food fix.

Genuinely one of the most disgusting Indians I’ve ever had the displeasure of ordering. Not even sure where to start. All the sauces were lacking the usual kick and flavour,the tikka was mostly tomato purée more and meats were rubbery and virtually inedible. The peshwari naan was some of the worst too, burnt and rock hard. Lastly, the portion of rice was barely enough to feed a small child.
Never every again will i be returning to this hell bucket of a takeaway. I strongly implore the Portsmouth residents to follow suit and get these frauds of the high street asap!
